Saw those air regulator valves at PetSmart a while back ! lol
Let us know how they work.
I admit, I also looked at ceramic air stones that stick to the wall like yours.

Well right now everything is all hooked up and I have some clones trying to root in it. The valves are really nice as of so far. Turn the valve on like full and the bubbles are big, big for a microbubble airstone anyway, and keeps everything well moist. Or I can shut one off. The only thing is if you dont have air lines on all of them you have to make sure the ones without air lines are ALWAYS off or else your airstones will turn off. I would recommend using this for controlling no more than 2 airstones unless you have a great airpump, not a cheap one like mine. After splicing 1 air line into two 7" airstones its about maxed out. Tried to put 3 on there just to see what would happen and they pressure was really low and harldy any bubbles. But using this to control 2 airstones works great with a cheap airpump.

Wait. I figured out that the valve has to air inlets! If I hook both lines from the air pump to each end of the valve assembly and then run two 7" airstones and 1 little 1" airstone, and the last line went to my single plant 6" airstone. It works pretty damn good. Can't use it this way though cuz I need to run one of the lines from the pump to my single plant bucket and the other one to the 6 banger. The two bigger plants in the 6 banger are Lemon Skunk and Power Kush.

Thanks man. Your garden is looking amazing as well. Not really expecting any exact number for a yield since this is my first try with DWC. Right now Im having some problems and nobody seems to want to help. Showing symptoms of overwatering. . . theres all the full info and exact nutrient amounts in my signature. +REP to anyone who can help fix the problem. Im just basically hoping to get whatever I can get, A lil is better than nothing. But after everything is all worked out I bet I could get maybe a quarter to a half is my best guess.

Dont think its overwatering bro...

Anybody used these before? B'cuzz and ATA(organics) both by Atami..
They claim to have specific foods for sativas(sa) and indica (id) has anyone heard of this before...

Any Ideas than? Is there any disadvatages of adding hydrogen Peroxide to my nutrient solution? will it affect my nutrients at all like make some easier to get and other less availible? is there beneficial bacteria in there that it will kill or should I not worry about it and just add some?

I cant say much on hydrogen Peroxide as i've never used it in my dwc, the only thing ive added to solve any problems is microbial which kills all bacteria good & bad for my root rot(or stale food). Sorry mate cant help, with this..

H2O2, hydrogen peroxide is an excellent cleaner, will kill all or alot of the bad stuff in ur root zone area..unfortunately it also kills the bennies

ive found that leaf tips curling up have 9 chances out of ten being heat stress of one type or another

They are curling down, and its alot more of a droop than a curl. Can't be heat stress. Temps max out at 78 degress and fall to no lower than 70 at night. I just added some H202 because I noticed that some of my roots are getting kinda brown. Also, I am noticing some problems with growth. Purplish/Grey spots are starting to appear on the leaves and some are dying and shriviling up/contorting. PH of solution is 5.5-6.0. I am also using a 1/3 strength veg mix as they have been rooted for over a week. What is going on????

First 2 pics are of the single bucket plant. The one that is droopy. The others are of the Lemon Skunk and Power Kush clones and what I think is their nutrient deficiency. These pics are from about 8 hours ago. They symptoms are worse now, it was in the night period most of the time. Some lower leaves are roughly 60% covered with necrotic spots and curling upward around the edges while shriveling up. This is on both plants. About 30%-40% of the leaves are affected now.

It looks like over-watering (lack of O²) to me. More bubbles, bigger pots.

Well the Lemon Skunk and Power Kush in the 6 Plant Bucket should have more than enough oxygen in the water. There is 2 Quarts of water in the reservoir and it is filled roughly halfway, leaving roughly .5"-1" of space below the bottom of the net pot and water. There is also two 7" micro-bubble airstones. I also added 4 ML of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide to the reservoir last night. Symptoms are getting worse. I am no longer worried about the bagseed Single Bucket Plant, just the two clones in the 6 Banger.

I do not think it is a nutrient defeciency anymore. It has been in a nutrient mixture for over a day now with symptoms getting even worse, Leaves are getting more and more covered with the purplish blotches and shriveling up. The edges of the leaves are curling upward towards the center of the leaf while the tips are contorting. I noticed the roots are browning more. I'm worried they are going to die and I have no idea why. I thought maybe the roots were browning because of light leaking through the roots but I relight-proofed the reservoir and lid yesterday and still they are looking worse. I will post updated pictures in a couple more hours show exactly the symptoms and how it looks. The nutrient solution has:

  • .5 ML BC Boost
  • .5 ML BC Grow
  • .25 ML B1Red
  • .25 ML Root66
  • .25 ML MagiCal
  • 1 ML Sugar Daddy
  • 4 ML 3% Hydrogen Peroxide
But the way its looking right now is I am going to just change out the reservoir again and put nothing but PH 6.0 water in it and hopefully that will help. I have no idea what is going on with them and any help is super appreciated. Please help save my babies! lol.

These pictures show exactly whats in my nutrients so hopefully one of you guys on here will know what is going on with my plants. Thanks again guys.

Have you grown in the 2qt rez before? Ultimately you are gonna need a ppm meter to track the levels in your rez. 3% h2o2 is weak, it's what I use. 32oz's in a 5gl rez so you probably could get away with 40ml's in your rez, even 60ml probably wouldn't hurt.. I have a 2qt container that I set up to practice cloning with. use a bowl fill with h202 & soak the roots for a minute or 2 or use a spray bottle filled with h2o2 & spay the heck out of the roots. it worked on my plants roots. It is still only a temp fix though. clean all of your equip, rez, air stones Even the air lines. I soaked all my stuff in water & bleach mixed 10:1. rinsed withwaterafter & then soaked with h2o2. after everything is dry wipe it down with a damp(barely) paper towel you may notice a powdery film similar to soap scum like from the shower/tub. the only way to remove this film is wiping it down. I tried scrubbing etc... the scum still showed up after the stuff dried, but wiping (more like rubbing it) it out with the paper towel worked. I am wondering if trying some of that micoorhyzae(? spelling) stuff is what i need. It's been the same plague with every experiment I have done. I have probably spent more on the so called tips & tricks than if I would have just bought the right stuff to begin with. However not knowing what the stuff is & how to treat it... just goes with being a noob to gardening in general in my case. the problem for me started as a whitish slime that eventually turns brown & finally shows as root rot of some type. You can use the h2o2 for a temp fix. you'll just have to keep reusing it. As for your air pump, I use a aquarium pump for up to a 60gl aquarium w/dual airlines. However as far as the air stones go. I hooked both air lines to a T & then to a single stone & now I get the type of bubbles I should be getting.
good luck with the growing man!
