OOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I get it now! great stuff! I'm gonna bite that idea! It's a great one! I wonder if it will be ok unsupervised? I hate thinking of fires and HPS bulbs and heated motors.

Net I secured my filter to the plastic support that came with the filter. It kinda cushions the bottom of the filter from the top of the fan guard but good call. Im gonna keep my eye on it..On low setting i dont see it becoming an issue. But we shall see. Hope no problems its too good to be true.Air is flowing thru without a problem tho the top of the filter is lifted while the fan is on.

happy for ya with another diy success story buddy.
If it gets really dank (which for smokes sake i hope it does) u could easy do the almost exact same but filter on the intake , n even mount the fants together get sum synergy such blow action goin on ( porno synopsis writer at the weekends ;) )

i wish i was still not sleepin as apposed to this sleeping all the time ball piercing nonsense. sayings, beggars . . . choosers . . - yeh

Cuppa?< im fookin dyin on 1!

LOL what up chazel Wake up bro EASY.
Good idea. A sandwich effect on the filter to ensure finely tuned suck and blow action. Bro thats genious. A smaller contraption could be built for less money for smaller grows too.
Just an initial idea sure it can be engineered and tuned to great measures.. It seemed to easy either way.
Damn i have a headache now wtf.

Good things DL. Now you need to get a fire extinguisher from the depot. Only $20 for peace of mind. Just being a safe stoner!
LOL I already have an fire extinguisher in every room and sprinkler system as well its a very simple ideal tho and the movement of air thru the filter is quite easy.. Dont do it if ur not content just thought id share it.. Im trying to figure out a good way to move the fresh air out now without worrying about if the nieghbors are going to get high on the fumes.. 23 plants tend to kick up a lil more dust then im used to

NO damn cow juice , im not a happy chappy!
So its stella's or diet pepsi ( who put that in there!?) n im leaning more towards the booz but i forsee it playin havoc with the meds especially the antibiotics . .
anyway in the interests of health and safety - n a little paranoia im gona try 1 extreme of dls plan kinda with a stronger fan/ motor active carbon and a fire blanket < i originally considered these for the fact they have awsome woven structure preventing air through easily , just how easily i guess we shall see . . .

other than that some fire retardent materials would be a good filter casing

pixels to follow

and dl man , my start up plan once things get a bit stinky is to mount the inline having a larger amount of active carbon at the intake and a smaller amount ( and probably diameter on the out - u could do the same , with some ducting to meet your distance requirements n such :( why dont i have any donuts left neither

Hi All Iv been searching and posted this question but not much response. I cant find the specific answer to my noob question. Then I found this cool thread. I fiugure some on in here can recomend to me how to set it up correctly.

So here I am.

Here is what Id like to do. I will have a mother /clone tent.

Then move the vegetative clones to the flowering set up after they reach 18".
The flowering set up its a DWC /bubbler using net pots.

I'm cloning in rock wool .

Can I simply put the rock wool in the same net pots I plan to use for the flowering set up?

For the vegetative phase, I was going to keep the net pots in the same tray as the mothers on a drip.

I'm afraid the roots will dry out.

Is this the right way to do it or do I need a dwc/bubbler set up in the veg room too.

Any tips on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hey bud I didnt see this... Id say once u start getting roots popping from ur clones no matter how ur cloning..I personally do mine in plugs in a small nursery tray on a horticultural heat mat with a dome now..Once u get roots to pop out then yes id then transplant into a the bubbler or tub u r going to end up vegging in and going to flower. Id reccomend only transplanting the plants once.
Yes I have my moms in a bubbler..
I cut and once i get my roots they go into a tub in the flower room directly to 12/12 where they live until harvest time bro..U will just have to transplant from veg tub to flower tub shouldnt be to hard..
Just make sure u use all the same size net pots.

Thank you brother, thats the heads up I needed. This should be fun I needed a new hobby.
Lets see ur set-up bro.. Ive also heard that people actually veg there plants directly in the larger rockwool cubes for longer periods and then transplant to there systems..
I found better results by placing the clones in a bubbler once the roots pop.

If its not too late go bring the rockwool back to the store and exchange it for peat plugs they are all the same pretty nuch im using the cheapy botanicaire ones now awesome results..
But u can use Rockwool wouldnt reccomend it for beginners tho.
If ur doing seedlings Id reccomend germin ur seeds and getting a nice taproot before placing them in the wool. Be sure to preph water and soak ur wool for 24 hrs blablabla.
See the plugs are already pre phd and i just squyeeze them out a lil in tap water haha and place the germed seed in the whole on top of the plug..U can put the plug directly into ur bubbler flush with the top of the hydroton I leave mine about an inch from the top of the net..Once the seedling start up i then cover the rest of the way with hydroton and this gives the stalk good support for this stage..

U want ur water about an inch above the bottom of the pot to start...this will help force the roots down to the water and food supply..once the roots start hitting the water i feed 1/4 strength.

LOTs of air and only moist plugs or wool.. Wool just takes longer.
