Can you think of anything I can put over or on the dome to reduce light? Like I said, the dome is 8 inches from the lamp. Or I could take out the 2 center bulbs leaving just the 1 on each side! Fuck n a I just tought of that. Am I smart or what!!!

heres the 2 bushmaster burned plants Looks like theyre doing theyre thing but stressed. I want to give them a dose of purple max but Im thinking I better let them recover for a bit longer before feeding them any nutes. The other 2 plants are larger One having to be tied town and the other suffering slight bushmaster burn from the 1.5 ml/gal dose I gave it. I didnt give any BM to the tied over plant.
And my 2 ob moms are getting kina tall and I was looking for some suggestions on how I could make it more bushy and less tall. Topping, supercroping, anything? To tell you the truth Im not doing so hot this grow. misjudging stretch and bushmaster has really set back some. Im not very proud of fucking up practically every plant in there, 4 of them anyway out of 6 that are in the flowering tent. The other 2 i didnt feed bm to and put them in there at a reasonable height. I hope I dont have some puny shitty harvest. It all perpetual from here on out though.

The way to keep plants small is to 1. know when you need clones, so ya know when to let the vegetation grow out. 2. Otherwise, if you don't need clones for a bit, keep pruning and topping every growth tip and supercropping any longer noded branches. The plants can take it, remember, just cause you might be stressing the plant out a bit at all times, doesn't mean, when you are ready to take clones, that those new tips will be stressed parts. If ya know ya need clones in 2-3 weeks, stop pruning, supercropping, and give it more light if ya can to get it vegging for those 3 weeks, ya should have more than enough clones that way. My mothers never got more than 1.5' tall, and thats when I am about to actually take the clones.

Thanks man. Good advice. And my clones are looking pretty and perky with no discoloration. Looks like theyre makng roots. But I have a question about the standing water. How often do I change it and how long will the cuttings need it? And Ive heard you can take the dome off in a few days and one guy said to keep it on for a week. And today is the third day so should I open the holes nd keep it less humid?

On the 3rd day I open each hole about halfway and continue to mist 1 maybe twice a day at most. As I said before I don't keep any standing water in my tray, I just watch the medium, if the plug begins to dry out at all I hit it with the mister when misting. As soon as I see a decent root structure poking out the sides I transplant them.

I'm going to have to say that, within reason, how well you know the plant, and the skill level you have, is what decides your end product almost as much as the genetics itself. My first run didn't see trichs till around day 23-25. Now I get the trichs out at day 14. The latest though I have seen is 27 days on my much less resinated pheno.

I think ya may have misunderstood a tad, cause not sure what ya mean. Umm the last part of my last post was worded kinda wierd, lemme try again. Out of all my grows, the longest it has ever taken a particular plants resin to show was 27 days, and it was the less desirable pheno of a stressed plant. Did I make things better lol.

Orange Bud definetely takes a decent level of skill and a few rounds of growing to get to know her. But once you do, watch out. The buds I am harvesting from one of my phenos is freakin fire. Ill be chopin in 2 weeks or less. Come check it out and you will be surprised.

ive seen your stuff on grasscity chaotic also, hope mine come out like yours ,huge tops real resenous ,stocky looking. ive got 20 inches of height left , then i guess i m gonna nok a hole in the ceiling ,,jk. they are getting rady to stop. its reallt one that took off, had to get tall bloks to even everything at the canopy.You've got beautiful plants though, i'm reading off your journal .

Every time I have grown Orange bud the stretcg stops at day 21-23, so hang in there. The pheno I have thats gets taller,looks like it is gong to yield less, but doesn't cause the buds are sooo much denser and full of resin. thanks , i'm at 25 dys.it appears to halted this morn. they look healthy though ,i know at the 5,6,7, weeks they explode . i just wanted to do half decent on them. i use nutes , but not much at all, i burned up some massive plants once just using max . doses to use, so i found out they dont need a whole lot of extra hep like i see around the forum. seeing they grow well outside with no hep.

i used tiger bloom week 3,with two cap fulls per gal. las week. today i gaveem a drink of pure drinking water .the leaves are standing straight upright , so i gess they like it. probably givem 1 capful next watering ,then 2 drinks of pure water in a row. dont listen to all these people referring to all these damn chem. for dif. phases of growth , thats how i screwed my shit up before.

There are many different chemicals, organic and non organic that can be used to mix your own or add to a base nutrient. hen doing this though it is very easy to overfert with even just 1 particular elements of the mix ya made.This is where digital ph/tds/ppm/ec meters come in handy. If you get it right then it is going to pay off more than you could imagine, but it is alot easier to go with pre-made 1 part nutes and still get great results.
