Got my pack of 10 DP orange bud fems this morning in the mail. I live on the west coast and got my seeds in 4 days from the U.K. DR. Chronic will definately be my source for seeds in the future.
Right now I have them in a shot glass with ph 6.3 water being imbibed. Im going to the hydro shop this afternoon to pick up some supplies. :hump:

3 seeds out of 8 have germinated and I put them into a styrfoam coffee cup with Foxfarm light warrior soil to finish sprouting.

planted 4 more seeds with the tap root at about 1/16 of an inch long. Saturated medium (foxfarm light warrior) in 6.4 PH then planted about 2/3 of an inch deep and sprayed surface with 6.4 PH water. There still a slowpoke who hasnt cracked the seed yet and took the longest to become imbibed.

All of the seeds germinated succesfully, are planted in foam cups and are fed with 6.4 water.
One seedling has already poked its tiny little cotyldons through the surface.
Question: I have B'cuzz foliar 1.0-0-0 all organic and loaded with micronutrients. Is it ok to reduce the dose by 1/3 and feed my seedlings? I also have a foliar boost product by b'cuzz that your supposed to mix with with the 1.0-0-0 foliar as well. But Ive also heard of using fox arm big bloom on seedlings. Anyone have any info would be nice.

So far 9 days and thier just beginning thier 2nd set of leaves. thought it would be a little faster i guess not. Im going to change thier waterings from frequent sprayings of the surface to fully saturating the medium. maby that explains slowed growth.

like I said I dont have much experience with seed. I thought the seedlings would be little plants by now but theyre only on thier second leaf set. Is this normal? It seems like theyre lagging.
And whats frustrating is that Im doing everything right. I PH the water every feeding and Im using fox farm light warrior for the seedlings. They popped out of thier seed so fucking fast I thought they would be some fast growers but I guess I was wrong. I just hope they dont die.

Ok here we ar at the 2 week mark since the seeds were sown. The growth is very slow. The 2nd set of leaves look like theyre going to be 3 bladed but theyre still so small you can hardly tell.
The humidity in the grow room is 33% so I'm running a humidifier and a fan blowing moist air want to get it up to about 65%. Maby they'll pull out of it and start growing. But in the mean time Im ordering more seeds in case this bastch turns sour.
Replies people, replies!

OK so its acctually day 12 since the babys emerged from the soil. Theyre still growing really slow. BUt Ihave patience so Ill wait.
Ive been shopping around for seeds all day and think Ill order some more Dutch Passion seeds. Just in case the seedlings just want to sit in the pot and do nothing as long as theyre healthy I guess I'll wait.

Hey man. You stopped by my grow so decided to return the favour. In my opinion which is a not very experienced one you seem to be doing fine. My strawberry cough/ skywalker are the same. Seemed like they shot out of the surface and then slowed a bit. Wouldnt stress to much About it. Bit stoned and sorry if i missed it but whats your set up for lights? Also as regards feeding them reduced nutes from what ive read and people ive spoken too their general consensus is that up to about 2 if not three weeks there should defo be enough nutes in the soil without extra. Seedlings are quite delicate and therefore you could do more damage by nuting them. I might hold off on the foliar spray too until they are a little bigger and just stick to watering the soil. Apart from that you seem to be doing fine and wouldnt rush into starting more unless you have the space and resources. Dutch passion are a quality brand for seeds and if your thinking of a strain check the pics of the frosting on my white widows and see for yourself how good they are. Anyway dont take anything ive said as gospel just my two cents.

Looking good so far and good luck

No, I havnt been feeding them nutes besides 1 drop of superthrive per gallon of ph 6.4 water. For about 2 weeks now theyve been under a 400 watt MH for 18/6.
Had it about 16 inches away and had a temp of 80 f-85 f during day and around 73-74 f at night. And my humidity has been very low all throughout in the upper 20% to lower 30% so i threw a humidifier in font of the fan blowing air into the rom and now the humidity is at 68%- 72%. I took the metal halide out because somone suggest I try it so now they are under 2 54 watt t5 cool whites with reflectors. So I dont really understand less light = better growth but at this point Im willing to try out stuff.

i cant understand why cfl would help ata all 2 54 way cfl's is only about 7,000 lumens i can understand why you would want to try anything but be carefull if you change the lights to many times you coulf shok the plants anyways good luck mate

Man, I get so many differing opinions as to whats happening. I knew it didnt make sense to take out the MH. Thats just some of the responses Ive gotten. Ive been considering all these peoples advice and am now confused as fuck. Shi, now I have to worry about stressing them too!!!?
This growin shit is some serious hard work.8-)
And im thinging about using the t5's along with the 400 MH. 508 watts, right? Thats pretty cool. So Ill keep them on overnight and see what happens.

Hey man. On here theres loads of different opinions on what people do. Mostly because people find what works best for them. Its nearly impossible to follow exactly what other people have done. I tried that when i first started but realised you gotta take a little bit of info from everyone and find your own style and methods. As regards the MH i think it is a little to early to hit the seedlings with that. Id have let the seedlings gorw a bit under flouesents and then move across.

Sorry if im wrong and dont be offended but I dont think you have a lot of patience. You seem to think this is gonna happen overnight. Afraid its not. And its gonna be a while before you spot results. As i said dont mean to be offensive :peace:

Did the good Dr. send the seeds in the original Dutch Passion envelope? I've ordered from a couple of sites and the seeds come inside cardboard etc. Who knows if I've gotten the real deal or not.

yeah, the seeds came in the original envelope but opened and repackaged.

As far as the patience A healthy plant will show growth every single day. I dont see that in these stunted seedlings. I think the best route is buying new seeds asap so this shit isnt cutting into my harvest time.

heres the new pics of the plants third day since changing 400 MH for 2 54 watt cool white t5's with reflectors. It seems like the transplanted seedling looks the best. The rest look severly over watered. I think I'll transplant the rest into the gallon containers with ocean f0rrest.
