Honestly i will probably be taking down my rdwc for summer just so i dont get half way done with a run and not be able to cope with the heat (no ac no chillers)
You might consider a waterfall above a tub and blowing air past it. The evaporative cooling might be enough.

You'll likely watch your EC climb but if it keeps temperatures down it might well be worthwhile.

well glad i did some more testing in the garage, lol. still have leaks, easier to identify now. rubber couplings are holding up well...

more gluing needed, possible silicone. will run another test soon...

so tonight i hope to get the new RDWC system set in place in my flower room.

if all goes well, i may move a ghost train haze in there as she is about 6" inches tall, but should go to 4 foot tall with a healthy hydro system.

sure is nice opening up my veg tubs and seeing nothing by white roots. that root rot almost ruined my life :o

pics later, i hope !!!!!

i was starting to wonder where we were at with this project.

and i just had a duhhhh moment when i realized sour wreck is sour diesel x trainwreck. i'm actually doing a california trainwreck now which is supposed to be a special variant of the original trainwreck. just putting on flowers at the moment

yup, but sour diesel is the daddy and crazy x seeds trainwreck ibl is the mother. pretty nice punch from the trainwreck, but it is still mostly sativa so the high is up...

gonna have to get a trellis up soon too. down low on one for sure to tie off, then probably another. if i get males, i will just cut them down.

i have another unsexed texas butter racing with the following females; sour diesel, sour wreck and 707 truthband to see who gets the last two spots in the the new system.

if this goes as well as i hope, i will soon setup another 4 tubs to run a 2nd rdwc system

Haha the best is when you turn your 900gph pump on with the drain valve open WHEEEEW what a mess lol

Looking good brother
thank you sir. all 4 plants are KICKING ASS !!!!!

what do you think? this is how i plan to eliminate hydroton rocks and use just 2" net pots to harvest.

self tapping screws, some 4x6 shelf brackets and some twine of some kind. once the plants get big enough to fall through the hole, they will be supported. no more hydroton to clean, fuck yeah !!!!
