Drilling a hole in the side of my house

Yes but this would defeat my purpose of drilling a hole for exhaust. Its drawing air just fine so I'll just clean it up a bit. I am trying to bring fresh air in from garage and expell all hot stinky air outside so this will just have to suffice. If I expand any then I'll start considering controlling my garage climate.
I think the way you setup is ideal with empting the hot air from your tent to outside, and as a result creating a negative pressure inside the tent bringing in new air. If im understanding this right good job.

Hey folks. Apologies for bumping the old thread. I'm here to know if building a small tent still makes sense. I mean, I've always thought that growing weed should be massive because it's the only way when it makes any sense. What do you think?

Just buy a 4 x 4 tent and grow away. No need for a hole in the side of ya house.

I prefer a larger tent than I need just to have the extra space for tower fan and whatnot, but it does require a larger exhaust fan, so I'd mostly consider that if I were you. Bigger tent = warmer. Consider your climate.
You can grow surprisingly large amounts in small tents too.
Most definitely

It really is not needed to use carbon filters (they only last 3 months then need to be replaced which is expensive).
Mine has lasted over 6 years :-) replacing it next grow tho but mainly because the fan is shitting itself on the loud side so might as well get a whole new set.

For sure. What's the inside part looking like?
Only picture I have is a before shot. I'll get a shot this evening once I change the fan and filter around and hook up the duct work. Basically, it's just a chunk of duct sticking out of the hole and an elbow and rigid flex pipe hooked to it. I did goof a little and hit about an inch and a half of a 2x4 that appeared to be turned sideways for support of the mirror that was there maybe. So I had to shift my hole over a couple inches. Once it is all in, caulked, spray foamed, etc, I will patch up my goof, but im not terribly worried about it since it's not really visible unless you are looking for it. It's back in the master bathroom where they had a stupid garden tub.
