This was my 2nd go with Dr Greenthumb. I've been very impressed.
Me too. I've done three runs with the bubba OG,
and finishing my second run with chemdawg.

I seriously sly love the bubba OG so much, I hit one plant with
JTR pollen to try and keep some of her around.
I know nothing of making seeds, but I sprouted three right away,
and all are girls, and are growing just like the bog.
Just testing them out in two gal pots for the winter.
Lol, x-mas coming, or I'd have just bought more seeds.
Number 8 looks real good hank, my fave of your bunch.

i can tell just by looking at her, exactly what she's going to taste like : )

An old friend (20+ years) got a little of the BOG #5 after just a couple weeks of cure. He said it my best yet.. that always feels good to hear.

After my blabbering about the BOG to so many people I'm very glad to hear you had great results.

The genetics show GREAT potential. The grow was a bit of a mess... but in about a week I start a grow with 13 BOG's under 1800 watts... 4 of the #2, 4 of the #5 and 5 of the #7...

They are very much recently rooted in 1 qt potsl I am going to veg them under hps for a few weeks before 12/12.

In the right climate what do you think the yield would be outdoors using a big hole in the ground and the right soil mix? Would it be as big as greenthumbs G13? Of the two which one has the best quality and bag appeal? Thanks for your answers. I've enjoyed reading your two journals on greenthumbs gear!

Quality and Bag Appeal... Bubba OG definitely beats out the G13.

Those G13 seeds have potential for freakishly large and high yielding plants... I had never seen anything like it before. My G13 #2... if I hadn't taken some of those pics myself I would have wondered if some photoshop was at work.. haha.

As to yield... man, so many factors... I grew a bit outdoors in the midwest, way back when... I didn't even weigh the crops back then... I just smoked the shit out of them.

On the GT page he lists outdoor yields, he says Bubba OG - up to 2 lbs.. G13 - 1 to 5+ lbs.

I'de love to see your results in the future though. Best of luck on that in 2014!

So, I decided to turn most of BOG #6 into hash... I didn't want to fuck with trimming it... fan leaves were removed of course.
I got 8 grams of iso hash off of the #6... not bad.. it was a pretty quick wash, as to keep it pure. this pic is after a few hours in the freezer. Dethawed, it is a thick amber oil.

Poor #6.. that plant got beat to hell and mistreated.. Still, harvested damn near 4 z's. If not decapitated, would have cleared 4 no problem.

I'm using this to make thc e juice for a wick style pen. Using Vegetable Glycerine, Propylene Glycol, this iso and possibly some grain alcohol and/or flavorings..

Tmrw around lunch time I'll have some friends and I hitting this iso hash with hot knives over my favorite little bong/bubbler (avatar). I'll let you know how it goes..

And yeah... as the BOG got out... People were flipping out over the quality, taste and smell. I could have bagged these buds with a dead rat and people would still be drooling over it.

I'll have a smoke report after our little pow wow tmrw..

Bubba OG 2.0..

Should I make a new thread or build on this one?

We have..
(4) Bog2
(4) Bog5
(5) Bog7

As you can see... BOG5 needs more veg time than the rest... a little behind..

Narrowed it down a bit. This grow should be much more clean.. More of what we want, less of those plants that just couldn't hang.. Quality was not an issue with any of the plants... just some yielded better than others without losing quality. No brainer there..

I just did that up quick.. I don't feel that the report or my current experience are really worthy of the smoke report sub forum. I'll have more to say on the smoke after I complete this next grow.. #2,5 and 7.. I am just a few days into flower right now.

I am very excited to look at Bubba OG narrowed down just a bit. The variety was great. Every plant produced magnificent smoke. From a growers perspective these 3 are the cream. From the end of the bong they were all great.

So, that concludes this journal.

I have been growing the shit out of this plant over the last year..
This is an amazing plant... A friend of mine has the BOG #2, and is going to send me a cut of it. I lost it on accident a while back.

I have been growing the #7, heavily. #5 was my baby for a while, but, I let her go.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY regret letting go of #4.. I did not realize what I had until I had already let it go.. That was the most medicinal plant I think I have ever had my hands on.. The high was very very mellow. It really didn't get you that high. But the medical value was extraordinary.

It made the BEST hash.. hash that definitely got you high. Still lots of med value.. Just really special hash..

Thought I would update..

I have a crop of this coming up to harvest in 3 or 4 wks.. I'll get some pics for ya'll...
