DP Blueberry Femenized Herm

Third try with this terrible strain. Had I known Fem seeds tends to herm I would have NEVER bothered. I have an insane amount of seeds though. So here is the question:

I am looking for a strain that is less prone to herm, something stable, and something I can get a good yield from and keep under 3ft. I am running a 600W HPS in a 3x3 tent. I have been cloning in a 30 site EZ Cloner. I have a 2x2 where I keep moms. I am looking for any suggestions on a strain to buy...non-fem of course. Thanks!!!
 
condolences, i had a hermie last grow(not the same strain or breeder) - it's a risk we run
just sad this strain(DP BB) has such a bad rep, some seem to get good grows, but a lot don't

well sorry to hear about your grow.

but you shouldnt bash DP or Blueberry.....i bet you didnt read awhole lot about the strain before you bought it. BB is one of pickiest strains known to man lol....it can be a big yielder but only if you have a real good environment for it. It is also pretty hermie prone, usually 5-6th week of 12/12 it will herm. So dont get upset with yurself to much, these thigns happen with BB, best way is to grow out all your girls and find the one that stays good , and clone off that one. Its really the only way to have good BB crops.

If you wanna try something like BB but way easy to grow check out peakseedsbc, they have northernberry (nl5 x bb) and skunkberry (skunk x bb). both yield big, turn purple and have a great stone. 30 bucks a pack to.

Thanks Dizzle Frost. Unfortunately there was way too much to learn going into this hobby that I just never knew a strain could be problematic. And I figured picking a well known one would be helpful. It would just be nice to be warned by the seed company that this is an issue. Thanks for the suggestion, I will look into it!

that's going to be tough, so much depends on what you're looking for
i have run nl#5 from highgrade-seeds - that was rock solid(other growers here have had good luck with this strain) - pretty good indica dominant
and nothing wrong with nirvana's PPP, no hermie there, i;ve seen others mention this is a pretty stable strain

i hear ya man...most seed co's will jus try to sell thier gear. Its rare to see seed banks that actually warn you about the strain. That company i just linked you to had some real good BB to, its thier own made from dj short, dp and sagarmantha genetics, ive grown it a few times and its real good, but like all BB i did have a few mutants and a couple hermies, but also found 2 kickass mother plants, one super potent green pheno and one real dark purple one that smelled and tasted like jam.

this is usual opinion on this type of seeds, but i've seen a few growers that admitted to trying some and having better results than expected
so i'm doing such a grow now, just about 5 weeks into flower and the offspring is fine looking female with no trace of male in her(at this time anyways)
 
No blueberry is a hermi prone plant. I heard bog's sour bubble is a strain that is very forgiving and many say that they have never seen any intersexed plants.
 
I grow blueberry jam and id have to say its the most forgiving plant on the face of this earth, i have let light leaks in a million times checking shit and they refuse to hermi.. thank you mother nature lol

yeah thats been on my list since i grew the northernberry...i think its a NL5 x BB x NL5, ive yet to hear a bad review.
 
It's nlxbb by dr atomic.. It used to be called just that and must not have been selling as good with that name so the renamed it to bbjam. I have been growing this strain for like 5 years and people are yet to get sick of it.. good shit man

i agree...its classed as comercial out west but it still sells..thats a pretty old strian but timeless IMO lol. And yes im almost positive Dr Atomics is a Bx to NL5..the Dr has some real nice NL crosses.
