Does a little rot/mold render a whole cola bad?

Hi all,
This grow is outdoors. First off, I'm guessing this a type of mold. It's brown and look dusty. I don't like it. One picture the whole bud is trashed. That is the worst of it.

Some other colas are also showing this brown mold but only in one small bud area. The size of a 25cent coin. If a bud of the cola has a small patch of brown can I assume the whole cola is not usable?

Thank you. Bonus pic of view through the 25x.

cut it off and the clean looking bud beside it, you should be fine. Do whatever you can to get rid of humidity after sundown and while it is cooling off, that looks like a dewpoint issue to me. The humidity around the plant is higher than the dew point of the temp of the air and plant

Thank you for the advice. It has been rather wet this past month and cool temperatures in the 40s.

I run into this every year on my outdoor grows. Only thing I can do is remove the effected flower and monitor for any more signs. Seems that some strains are more susceptible to rot-my favorite strain HAS to be grown indoors here, just to foggy to not rot during the fall.
