Well it's hung but I'm waiting for drivers. I ordered a pair of Meanwell HLG240H-C2100A. BUT.................... just got an email saying they can't ship UPS etc shut down deliveries for 2 days because of the weather! Says they will ship Feb.22. Damn! I need that light going! Might have to put my QB 304's back up!

I couldn't just let it sit. So I rewired it. Twice more! Still nothing. I tried wiring just a pair, nothing. Then I got the bright idea to replace the Wago connectors. First one I swapped out fixed it! She's lit up! I'll get a pic in a bit.

NEVER JUMP IN THE POOL IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO SWIM IS THE LESSON I'VE LEARNED FROM THIS...
Man wiring my rig up was so hard and frustrating. I had not a clue what a positive and negative was (I mean I DID, but basically Spanish) it was very tough for me to pull off. And I often worry of fire but I guess everything is ok. I have 4 qb132 and 2qb96. My QBs are wired together and they’re ran single to individual lamp chords lol

Quantum life - flower time

Rig : QB 304 V1 x 4 ( 3500k ) with 2 Citi COBS ( 3500k ) power dim set 360w
Supplemental : G8 Bloom w 630-660nm all reds. Or QB288 (3000k 90cri board ).

Smaller solo cups that were pictured before have been up potted and is in other tent. Using new layered mix and Recipe 420 Recharge dry fertilizer for a water only run. Ph 6.6 tap/zero water blend .

Mainlined / hub plants will be final pruned after stretch . Original quantums are purring along for being 6 years old , so are the COBS.

Thanks @Stephenj37826 :bigjoint:

Strain : KKP
Center plant : KKP ( pollinated ) fem
for seed run ..... transplanted from solo grow.
HSO BD ( BLUE DREAM ) is in late flower and will finish with these girls under 12/12. That has had been pollinated weeks ago ( lower growth ) with Bhangi Haze F9 pollen. Thanks icemudgrow for that pollen.
Cali RH has been mid 40s so it fits flower time with mild mid 70s local temps. Simple oscillation fans and 8” extraction.

Warp Drive rig is back in action .... 2 QB 96 ( 320w ) and Dual Sunblaster T5 HO ( Agromax Pure UV / 10000k finisher lamp )

Running 18/6 on these girls . Same layered mix ..... kind of done with bottles.
Started to hub some of the Strawberry Diesels , they will be topped as time goes on .

Application for growing plants :weed:

jk ..
A great DIY alternative to COB. Better way to make low profile, light weight, high efficiency lamps. No TIM application is needed.
Heat is spread more and easily manageable. Efficiency is a little higher. More angles of light for minimal shadows.

without optics.. these boards good for veg lamp where you need a good light spread. They will work great in tent for flowering.
Great for use where you are limited by overhead height. Great for high efficiency if you under drive them.

With optics great for application where you need deeper canopy penetration or for use in space with no reflective sides.

Captain Started a grow. I am making a lamp to test in my tent. NaplamD may be testing these in a 2x2.5 soon.
Sorry to hear about your lack of knowledge of LED. Its Samsung LED calculator, not some emissions claim from VW
Give things time to breathe and spawn. I cannot make a lamp and prove it is best lamp ever. Plants take a few weeks too grow.
Lets wait and see for results if you are not convinced. Enjoy the ride. It will be fun.
How much? Send me 3 and ill try them out for you, ill veg it for two months and then flower and see what they can do.

Bud sets are happening and stretch ....

Watered today because of low RH ( 30’s ) , and they be thirsty. This weekend i will move to Recipe 420 Ultra Bloom , Top dressed and watered. The “ grow “ mix nute ( Recipe 420 Recharge ) has worked out great , no fuss. Uniform color , no drama.

I am minus a plant ( turned out to be a DUDE ) , so it was terminated by means of a Olympian Spinning Hammer Throw right into the side of local dumpster.

Forgive the slight yellow shift in pics - shitty iPad camera.

Quantum HSO BD [ harvest / seed run ]

QB304 V1 ( 3500k ) and 2 3500k COBS (380watts dim )
1 gallon grow bag for project.

HSO BD Blue Dream x F9 Bhangi haze pollen ( @icemudsgrow )
Planted in 1 gallon soil with lower branch areas pollinated around week 2ish of flower.
Upper part plant harvested as usual and lower seeding. Nugs have foxtails ( non issue for me ) , sticky and stanky as I like.
The cross was the target over nugs. Ended with a fair amount in the end.

Got my new drivers a couple days ago finally. 240H-C2100A. Wired one up to two boards, plugged it into my watt meter, and turned it on. 320 Watts from the wall!!!

even discounting 20 watts for wiring and driver losses, that's still 300 watts to the boards! I turned it down but could only get it to 215 watts. And I'll never buy A drivers again, what a pain in the ass. Can't let them run full power, I'd fry the plants or I'd have to bolt the light to the ceiling of the tent...... I'll get the other one wired up shortly.

And for some reason, the light was only drawing 220 watts from the 320H-C2800A. Plants sure seemed happy with that lol!

Found two ratchet hangers. Man the quantity of wires coming from 7 different quantum boards in one flower tent is just stupid. Wish I had just bought a stationary rig lol.
