You guys are talking 8 inches and even 18 inches...that seems crazy. I'm running my 288's now at only 60 watts and I'm burning the shit out of fan leaves at 15 inches.

But you have 16 boards. The cumulative effect must be considered. When I had one 288 at 100w, that made for 33w per square foot (in my cab); not so much.

I like the reflectors for the quantum’s.... and use them.

What I wanted proof of was 288s @ 100w @ 8" with multiple boards during flowering.
As was stated above as being possible.
Bleaching = a deficiency = lmao.
Please explain what deficiency is capable of turning buds white.
Explain how I've grown hundreds of plants since the first batch of quantum boards without having that problem also when you quoted me I was saying 18"

In any case, 8" @ 100w proof was all I was interested in seeing.
Fwiw I'm really not trying to be a dick, the broscience stuff just bugs the shit out of me, it only hurts new 2 qb growers.
I have had like 2 phones since I ran anything that close the pics are probably between page 100-200 in this thread they started looking really stressed at like 6" I let the plants get within 4" just to see what would happen I think at that time I was running 9 qb over a 4x4 at around 850w so not quite 100w per board. I would call what you are saying broscience do you have par measurements for the bleaching? I would like to know what ppfd cause the bleaching for you I've had no problems running over 1000ppfd I measure with an apogee mq500 so it should be a pretty accurate measurement on my part

Well, that's odd seeing that I've run 4 QB304 @ 90 watts and I've had it as close as 14" , even had a couple grow into the light during an out of control grow, those that got real close burned. My fault, I over vegged when my timer didn't kick in properly.....

I haven't sidestepped anything you don't even have any pics to show the so called bleaching plenty of pics all over that contradict what you have said and not 1 from you. I never said a defeciency would cause bleaching your really trying your best to put words in my mouth. I have a 2x2 dialed in perfectly for my needs. Ive gotten a 120gram harvest out of it every month for almost a year. im using the 135w kit with a fan attached. 2x2 is 53inches i think. Grow from seed and i top the plants at day 20 and start 12/12. At the end of harvest the top buds are 4-6 inches from the board and i get very little bleaching or burning. im about 2-3 weeks from harvest now and they are 8 inches from the board. My plants are picky and usually need a gallon a day and then stop drinking water fairly early and i do get some burns if they do that extremely but when i notice this i just turn the lights off and let them finish in the dark for 3-5 days. This happens at 50% orange pistils, But its not usually a issue.

Already posted this pic on this very thread many pages ago. This bud was within 12" of my 288 @135 watts for at least the last 3 weeks of flower.... no bleaching.

Warp Core is now on-line .....
Took down the 4000 k QB 288 and installed the new one .
The remaining 288 dual QB ( 3000k 90 cri ) kit is still in place and running with the core.
260w QB 288 3000k 90cri ( 2 ) board with dimmer
( 2 ) QB V2 96 power - 320 watt with dimmer
I Noted that the linear pot on the 320 driver goes complete off ( Black )
Installed the Pure Uv Agromax T5 and daisy chained to the 10000k finisher lamp.
2 6500k Bulbs are available for seedling starts ( T5 lamps on only ) or for some spectrum mixing.
The QB 96s are ridiculously bright by themselves...... so the dimmer helps control things.
Power : about 580w total
But for the 3x3 space I created it will be dialed down or each rig running separately.
