DIY with Quantum Boards

.Show me where they got the attention of Samsung, because I do not think that is confirmed, and its really not a very sensible thing to believe to be true. They didn’t nail any deals, you know that right? It would be public knowledge if they were really “The official horticulture partners of Samsung”. Samsung produces products which compete with quantum boards, so I’m not sure how you guys even have the capability of believing in such an unlikely

Like I said before, all HLG has is the trademarked term, ‘Quantum Board’. If Samsung is interested in that, they will buy it for pennies. They aren’t ‘partnering’ with them. Why would they?
Why would Samsung announce a partnership, or a contractual agreement to the public. You act like it's a multimillion dollar deal, it isnt. They are producing boards for a company. I'm sure Samsung has tons of deals in place just like it. That's what companies do.
It's funny how you think you're going to sell to all these commercial operations with no product.
They arent going to outfit their whole operation without knowing for a fact that the product is going to deliver.

Here is the Samsung data sheet for the boards they produce.

I think the more logical question is, what is the interest in Samsung partnering with a company who literally owns one thing which is worth arguably nothing. Do you not realize HLG owns nothing more than the term, 'Quantum Board'? Samsung doesn't give a fuck about that term, and if they did, they'd purchase the rights to the trademark, not partner with the company.

Its funny how you think I'm at this point and I don't have a product. What kind of dumb shit is that?

Who said it's a partnership, damn you're dense.
All they are doing is producing boards for a company. Whom they have a contract with to provide top bin diodes.
Please tell me how you know they would buy the trademark.
And I'm pretty positive you have no product. Or else you would prove it. Even if you did, it's highly probable that it's the same shit that's already out. And you've done nothing to advance the market, except try and squeeze your way in

They've stated they are "The official horticulture partners of Samsung" - and they're not.

My product is in the process of being patented. Why would I show your dumbass my product before I file the Provisional Patent Application, which we're doing this week? And why would I spend this much time talking about this if I haven't even attempted to make a product?

I'm saying the trademark is all HLG has. If Samsung were interested in them, that would be all they care about. They don't care about a company that sells fixtures which are also sold in China under the same name for half the price with the same quality.

What has HLG done to "advance the market"? Its actually mind blowing to me that you guys think they've done anything at all. You all literally fell for a line of text, lol. There's even a guy in this thread who said something like "If HLG says its a 1000w replacement, then its a 1000w replacement. Commerce." - ....

Please prove that they arent lmao. Your mouth isnt proof.
And that's the way shit works. The burden of proof is on you. I fail to see what your point of being in this thread is. Why do you care if people buy a light from HLG.
And just because your filing a patent doesnt mean shit, you can provide details about the light without giving the actual light away. And until you do that. Your word means shit.

You don't know shit, clearly. Carry on little guy.

You really think Samsung would allow a company to put their name on a product without first allowing the company, especially going as far as saying they are "The official horticulturepartners of Samsung".
No, they wouldn't. That company would be in a whole slew of legal troubles.

Are you having trouble reading? Here, try this: Go to what you've linked again, press Ctrl+F, and search for things like 'partner', 'partnership', 'official', 'horticulture lighting group', etc. Where in that random bullshit do you even see Horticulture Lighting Group? You just assume the acronym HLG is them?? Why? And what in that document proves they are "The official horticulture partner of Samsung"???

You have no idea how irrelevant HLG is relative to SAMSUNG. Samsung doesn't give a fuck about them. Why would they? What is HLG worth? What is Samsung worth? What are HLG's assets (or should I say asset) worth? Is Samsung interested in that asset? If so, how much are they willing to pay for it. There is literally nothing which would imply Samsung has any incentive to partner with HLG. You really don't know how business works.

Its actually mind blowing to me that you think HLG has anything a company with a market value of $216B would be interested in. They've made every possible mistake they could. Samsung would never tarnish their reputation by partnering with such a small, irrelevant company, with so few assets. Especially one which manufactured their products in China at a time, probably still does, and are now getting shafted by a multi-million dollar Chinese vendor who is highly respected in this community.

Get real dude.

I haven't a dog in this fight but as far as I'm aware HLG just purchase Samsung boards (which are made in China) and resell them. Nothing new or exciting about that.
Growers lights resell HLG branded boards....

Not sure why Samsung would need HLG as a partner. Samsung has a huge distribution network of its own.
I'm sure at a cost HLG could advertise as an Official partner but im not sure such a small company could afford the licensing nor make it worthwhile.

In the fucking title lmao. Please tell me what you think "Samsung Horticultural modules for HLG" means.
Samsung wouldnt let ANY company profit off its name. Do you think for one second any big corporation is going to let anybody use its name? No. Samsung has a steady supply of lawyers ready for this shit.

Samsung doesnt need HLG as a partner wtf. You guys are acting like it's the biggest partnership ever brokered. It's not. Samsung produces one of HLG's boards. Why is it that hard to believe lmao. Big companies have nothing to do with smaller companies? Give me a break.

Bro it doesn't matter what any of us 'think' it means. It doesn't say Horticulture Lighting Group. If it were a document proving that HLG was the official horticulture partner of Samsung, it would not only say that, but cite the full company name. Holy shit lmao.

I'm really not sure they do, though, and I know you think you've proven that they do, but you haven't (because you're having A LOT of trouble reading and using the CTRL+F function). Samsung has 0 incentive to partner with HLG. Anyone with half a brain would be able to understand that.
Wtf is really going on here. What does any of this have to do with diy with qb's? Am I in the right place or am I just super stoned? Yolo, I'm out.
HLG passed away. I think this is my thread now.

I think everyone went over here: https://www.rollitup.org/t/the-chinese-quantum-board-knock-off-builds.971560/

Which is hilarious, because everyone here is freaking out about Chinese companies selling a non-patented, basic 'design' for half the price with the same tech, yet HLG gets their shit from China too...Its all trash Chinese bullshit. I am absolutely thrilled something like HLG was able to generate this much hype. Makes me feel like I'm about to make a whole lot of money.

Yes it does. It's just coincidence that hlg says samsung is making. Their boards. Then samsung makes a product sheet saying HLG. And there is this. Screenshot_20180716-031443_Drive.jpg

You're a fool, and I'd be surprised if you make shit with the attitude you have. I can't wait till you release your product so RUI can chew it up like 90% of the shit that rolls through here.
Please tell me why a product sheet would mention anything about a partnership, or terms of their contract. It wouldnt. You really are reaching ridiculous.
