DIY with Quantum Boards

I like to have my lights 18-24in, if you run them closer at higher wattage watch to light burn. What type of strain are you running ? Some have more legs than others and I think we need to factor that along with individual grow space. You and I have similar sq foot and I to don't have the celling height in my tent. If someone asked me to scrog a sativa heavy strain I don't think I would be able to or at least not yield anything worth the time.
This one ended up being highly sativa and she blew right past 20 zips and kept on going. I keep them under 24" from "dirt" to tip of the colas. 3x3' tent, single plant, finished at 200w.

Scroging combined with a great light puts out great numbers for sure ! My sig grow I got 2.5 grams per watt at 175W That's a lot of weight in a small space ! Scrogging with the quantum's is where its at if we want to maximize yields although some growers don't want to do the work of trimming the bottoms.

Do you have a pic of the bottom of your grow ?

I think im missing something. You got over 2 zips per sq ft using only 22 watts per sq ft?
Amazing thanks for sharing.

If you go back a few pages I think I posted a shot of the everything jarred up. It did see 300w for about a week or so but got severely light burned in the process, I dropped it back down to 200w after that. It flowred about 12 weeks.

That is a very nice scrog in your sig.

If you click my name I have several posts in this thread throughout the entire grow (I have very few posts so they are easy to find), but here is one from under the net. That is a #7 pot

2.5gpw x 175W = almost a pound.

Seriously?

I couldn't beleave it and was hoping for 1g per watt lol not all strains Scrog well I'm sure but Scrog or in your case vertical is where the yealds are at. The fact that the plants are not competing for one light source make each bud as good as the next. It is a PITA to lay down on the floor and keep the bottom trimmed and clean.

The vertical grows I ran did not generate really high gpw numbers. They were good for yield per square foot and productivity. It depends on one's priorities.

Just an FYI, you can make you own STS ( that's all this is ) by the GALLONS for the same or less money.
Yeah I guess I could raid grandmas silver and hook a battery with some distilled water and make my own ...

It is very simple to do .
Actually I was only curious about the " off the shelf " stuff and I had an Amazon gift code to exploit.

I will make my own for refills

I checked your link and is the 175 watt setup two QB boards in the alum frame? 175 watt Meanwell?
May I ask what soil, nutes and watering system? Those are crazy good numbers.

My 'friend" has pulled 3 lb per 1000 watt HPS when running 4 plants in 5 gallon cloth pots per light.

MMJ you followed me and the scary guy with the golden mask lol. I was one of the first to start growing with them . Every day you asked for more pics.

hello everyone. i just got my 260w kit and its awesome and incredibly bright. i hung it in my tent and it seems my leaves are taco-ing some. temps are between 80-85, i have no real way to lower temps that i can think of yet. i dont have RH monitor yet either. QBs are 24" from plants.

my question is: are the tacos from too much light? i had it turned up to ~70%, the down to ~50%, and now down to ~30% (im using the notches on the dial as a percentage because there are ten of them from left side to right)
