Dispensary mother plants

I inherited a few plants a month ago. Supposedly, they were former mother plants which makes sense as they are about 4' tall and have tons of small, bushy branching caused by the heavy harvesting of leaders for cloning. I have put them in the ground just to see what is going to happen. Anyone think there is a chance these plants will actually generate substantial amounts of bud? My guess is there won't be any significant colas since there isn't a primary leader.

Anyone want to venture a guess?....

Pretty much what I was guessing. If nothing else, it will be an interesting experiment.

If they are 4ft tall now you can still get a nice little pull from them. We are in the middle of stretch so your plants can still double in height. Just make sure you support and feed them well and you should do alright enough for a nice headstash. :) Good luck!

Should clarify - they were 4 feet tall with lots of exposed trunk so I dug deep holes and buried most of the bare trunk. Now they are about 2' tall. Like magic!
We'll see how they really end up.....

Garden Boss -

Here is a pic of one of the plants (sour diesel). Like I said earlier, it was tall (pushing 4 feet) when in the bucket with all of the grown on the trunk stripped down so it looked like a big lollipop. I dug a hole that was about 2 1/2 feet deep and buried as much of the trunk as I could. So far, the plants look great. I am still skeptical on what they might yield, but if nothing else, it's an experiment and at the worst I'll have another site prepped for next year.

Looking very healthy so far....
