2/10/15: Just a little update with some pictures of her new pistils. I switched up the lighting a bit to give her some more red spectrum now that she's started flowering by adding a couple warm white led spotlights.

Looking good my man, yeah keep her she might even surprise you. You won't believe it if I told you but I put my auto k.o through hell literally, i would pull it out everyday just to see how much the roots have grown if they have atal cause it felt like forever almost 2weeks in and she still dint even have her 1st set of true leaves, before moving them to my friends I even broke off the taproot.
The Cash Crop as you know I burned till it was a golden crisp. So yeah everything bad you could do to the poor Autos. There alot tougher than what I though tthankfully! P.S I even pulled a few fan leaf stems off when I was trying to lst ha

Btw I'm not sure if it's due to the type of strain or the sugar but mix in abit of mollases, my plant is throwing crystals like crazy before you could even tell it had hairs

Word, I've been using Blackstrap Molasses since the start, it really helps jumpstart the soil too!

Ace try LSTing her.
I was thinking about that, I actually posted it as a question in the Autoflowering section as to whether I should or not. Sadly, the autoflowering section may not be as lively as other areas, because I got one single response (From @justugh). He said not do it since it's my first time with the strain, better to get a baseline of how it performs default. Now that it's back to 1-1 I'mma have to start considering it again haha

I wish I did, I have 4 more seeds of the Kannabia Auto Hobbits, but this Blue Kush was a freebie so it's my only one haha, that's why I was so worried about screwing it up

well the whole reason i said a baseline is so u can do the advance tricks later on it and see what reactions u get ...........personally i grow 1/2 plants and use the info to make a baseline that way i can try tricks to force more growth out of the strain

super cropping on Autos are giving me the better results but it slows the maturing rate ........one plant that i did not crop is done now as where the one i did crop is only about middle the buds are thicken but no resin glands as of yet

2/12/15: Startin' to spit pistils now! I bet in 2 weeks it's gonna look like a whole different plant haha! She's really stretching them lower branches, I had no idea she was gonna be so leggy, I figured she'd wind up as just a main cola with barely any side branching, now it's looking more like she's gonna be bushy after all! I have a feeling I may need to stake her branches though, they look like they are gonna wind up very tip-heavy.

nice man!
are you doing 18/6 start to finish?
I started her on 20/4 because I had some bagseed that I wanted to see if I could get to flower outside at this time of year by starting them inside under 20/4 so the light drop is so extreme when they go outside that they don't notice the days are getting longer. I will let you know how it works, I just put them outside yesterday (Also switched to 18/6 when they went out to save a couple simoleons and because I've heard even autos can have issues flowering under 20/4) so she will be 18/6 until the end. If something unexpected happens and I need to force flower I can, I am setting up a 12/12 room in my shower because I'm gonna be starting some 12/12 from seed entries in the Solo Cup competition. As a matter of fact, this auto is why i haven't started them yet, since I can't flip the light cycle where she is I needed to clear out a second room. Also using the 18/6 room to grow out a couple mothers for my regular outdoor season, right now I have a Quin n' Tonic CBD, a Heisenberg Kush, and three Cheese Quattros growin out, gonna keep the best looking of the bunch as a mother and throw the rest in the 12/12 room to flower out to tide me over until the big harvest. Jeeze it all sounds so hectic written out hahaha
