1/25/15: The little girl is picking up pace a bit. I am liking this little LED I have on her, it has kept the stretch to basically nothing.

1/28/15: Growth rate is continuing to steadily increase, and she is developing quite the stout little stem. I am really liking her, thinking I'm gonna get some more Dinafem autos when I get the chance.

Looks good Ace. I'll be watching this one. I also got the blue kush freebie and plan to pop it within the next two weeks. How long did you let your soil cook that went into the bottom of the pots?

About two to three days. When I'm using a more compost based mix like for the outside plants, it cooks for a lot longer because I mix the soil months before planting (Next week the hyper nutrient dense Bokashi finishes fermenting and will go into trash cans with soil and worms and will cook until I get my outdoor plants ready to go). But the only compost-like thing in the Blue Kush's pot are the orange peels and those are much more for preventing pests than anything else (Bug larvae can't stand the stuff, the oil in it destroys their protective waxy coating). Plus, by not cooking it very long, I make sure that the slow release nitrogen doesn't become available until a month or so in when the plant actually needs it, and isn't too hot when the tap root first makes its way down there.

1/29/15: Actually seeing a difference in growth on a day to day basis now, I think the roots have established themselves and the real growth gonna start. Very happy!

Lookin' good. Should have signs of sex any day now
I think I can see a couple pistils around her top nodes, my camera has trouble focusing that small but I can see em. Haven't been checking too closely since it was a fem seed so I'm not worried about balls, but it's nice to see how much progress she's making day to day and it will be nice to see the buds start coming in and find out if she's frosty :)

2/5/15: Definitely showing sex now. Also a side shot to show how much she's starting to branch out, she's gonna be a bushy lil' girl.

Haha, naw man yours look great! Plus, not all of mine are pretty like the Blue Kush, check out this Auto Hobbit that I almost managed to FUBAR. The peat pellet I started her in had started growing some mold on the bottom so I hit it with some hydrogen peroxide and transplanted her, but I may have caught her roots in the collateral damage. She finally started growing again but now her leaves are WAY bizarre. I'll keep her around but I have a feeling she gonna stay a runt and yield next to nothing.

2/10/15: Just a little update with some pictures of her new pistils. I switched up the lighting a bit to give her some more red spectrum now that she's started flowering by adding a couple warm white led spotlights.
