so i'm out in the garage with a smoke and a smoke and a beer, wondering bout this post. was this a sincere move, or politicking?
and i noticed a logical contradiction in the spin room analysis of this.
you state that you have always assumed that the president looked kindly on gay marriage.
you state that he chose to reveal his affinity towards gay marriage now only because only because biden shot off his big bazoo.
but then you state that your assumption that the president looked kindly on gay marriage must be false, because obama is not truly genuine (about looking kindly on gay marriage).
so does he look kindly on gay marriage, like most have suspected all along? or is he not being truly genuine, and does not look kindly on gay marriage?
after all, on the heels of a critical swing state rejecting such a position by 20 points the day before, it seems politically unwise to take such a position. and this issue will be used to drive out to the polls romney voters that would have otherwise stayed home, even in critical swing states like virginia and ohio and florida and iowa.

romney calls it a "prank". last time i checked pranks were reserved for friends. and when you go out of your way to tackle a kid, pin him down, and cut off his hair while he cries and screams for help, all because he looks kinda weird or gay, that's vicious, emasculating bullying.
that's the type of bullying that traumatizes kids. that's the type of bullying tat causes so much trauma in some kids that they commit suicide.
