Finally back...
Got locked up almost back on my feet, just won my cultivation rights back. Time to get started got 3 tester projects to run through, probably just throw em up. About to start hunting a true purp again. A buddy sent some seeds I’ll be dropping tonite (Purple Kush x GDP BX1) hunt those first. Then I’ll be looking for keepers of some Skunkhouse Banana Burger Mousse, Top Dawg Stardawg IX, and Top Dawg Sour Diesel BX4. The room will be finished in a couple weeks and I got a 4x4 tent on the way for veg with some Blue T5s.
Right now I got Tropicana Banana, Double Banana Kush, OG Kush, White OG, Peyote WiFi, & Dark Plasma. Already have clones if they turn out to be keepers. I’ll post pics when the rooms finished in a couple weeks. Thank you RIU for the help.

Let’s get to work 45 seed down. 30 of them are PK x GDP BX1 that’s only the first wave too. Testing these out for a few people. Going to drop the Shoreline BX1 too

I started making rosin as well. Here is how I do it as close to live as I can on a budget. Just everything I found out there thrown together.

Portable Washing Machine 100$
Bubble Bags 40$
4 Ton Manual Press 300$
Deep Freezer 150$

1.) Harvest plant and trim of leaves without trichomes.

2) Freeze for 24-48 hours. You don’t really want to go over 24 I guess damage can happen from the frost after that point. You can run strings on the mouth of you freezer and hang the buds to freeze so they don’t loose shape.

3.) Wash your material in your portable washer. Make sure you do this in a cold room around 60F. 30 min cycles 2-3 times repeated after step 4. Use 1-2 7lbs bags of ice.

4.) Dump water into bubblebags using as many as you’d like. I personally only use 220, 160, 75, 25. 160-75 and 75-25 are separated when collected from bag and placed on drying screens to dry. The drying screens are placed atop pieces of cardboard. Continually move when placed until water stops visibly pooling beneath screens. This water buildup of allowed will make your has dry into a much denser consistency making it difficult to deal with later. You want as close to sand as possible before you press. Repeat step 3 until you’re comfortable with yield diminishing point (every run gets smaller and you still have to add ice).

5.) drying keif without freeze dryer- there are a bunch of methods for this but I live in a dry climate and this works for me. Place on 25 micron drying screens. Place screen atop cardboard. Continually move around first 24 hours. Keep breaking up chunks over the next couple days. This takes about a week for me in my cold room. After this I hydroplane I’ve a little mesh screen.Like those small metal mesh handheld strainer you can get from Walmart. And allow it to dry.

6.) press this dry keif @150F~

This worked pretty well without spending 5K on equipment but just like making BHO. Open blasting only works so long before you gotta buy a closed loop. Plus I really want to get into jar tech and start making diamonds.

Order cuts of either Ze Chem, Spritzer, or Tokyo Snow.
Finish Room
Prep Purple and Skunk Hunts. Between the Shoreline, skunktosis/85’ RK skunk hybrids, and the PK x GDP should be more than enough.

I got a cut of OG Kush from a family member out of California. He’s had the cut since the late 90’s. Just got my first testers in flower. See how the change in terroir affects the plants.

Switching to organic as well. Going to run subcool’s recipe during flower when I transplant from 7G to 15G. I’ll do this transplant 5-7 days before switch to 12/12. Before that it’s just Happy Frog, Ocean Forest, Europonic Fossil Fuel, Microbes (Heisenberg Tea, Kelp Ferments, Mycos, Great White), and Worm Castings. Placed in saucers atop rolling trays.
To Do:
Install my 6 UVB T5 lights, Install RO Rez and Watering Devices, Install CO2 Rainsystem, Hook up 8” Ducting to exhaust and intake wall vents, Replace Floor, & Seal Room.

Really want LSP from Solfire. Don’t think he ever did hybrids with it. Used to have a keeper but now unless I pay 2k I can’t get ahold of it not giving up yet.

last pheno hunt for a while. After this strains will be selected for keepers. Males will be grown out and pollen will be collect and stored. All phenos of each strain will be tested via clone to preserve the healthiest mother possible. Just want to get back to reliable, predictable, stable genetics and get all facilities running perpetually.

I haven’t found any keeper so far out of like 300 seeds but a bunch in test right now.I already have 1 keeper (An OG Kush from Cali, Family member got the clone back in the late 90’s) that is a great washer with an excellent mycerene terp profile. Pheno hunting can be really rewarding but I need to focus on structuring my business. Life requires me to think very practically these day.

Got these seeds from a grower out of Acapulco. Don’t know if it’s the real deal Acapulco Gold. For my own little breeding project it’s perfect, probably get into it next year already have a full plate. The columbian Golds are fems so I have to replace them. (Columbian Gold x Acapulco Gold) x Afghan)

Finishing my Genetics List with Shoreline Purple Punch and an OGKB 2.0 BX1 from Mountaintrollgardens. Met Mountain when MassRoots was a thing if anyone remembers that.

We can only keep 12 Mothers Max. The Purple Punch, OGKB 2.0, Jam On It, Jesus OG, Stardawg IX, Sour Diesel BX4 are all basically guaranteed a spot.

Got these all moved to a different location we will call Location Z for data entry. My bud had a empty tent to fill up for the hunt. He also shot me back a clone from my (original) OG Kush mother [bottom left] I had lost. Gonna get her TCed up. Actually have 2 phenos showing up in keeps in the flower room. The White OG (Rolex OG Kush x Some OG Raskal Strain) and Peyote WiFi. Both from Seedsman actually. The ECSD could definitely take another. Little late to take clones.
I made cookies tonite and gave em away. I put enough wax and did the math like it was only 60% THC and it came out to 200mg a cookie. Then I threw like 50 Rosin pucks in the butter so who know. I got a bunch of good night test from my friends tonite though. “Just wanted to let you know I appreciate you”, & “eat that edible I’m about to sleep good tonite man. Good night man.” They must be good so im bout to eat one and crash.

OGKB 2.0 got in. Have em in quarantine. About to go check on everything at Spot Z. Still got a couple things to grab. I’ll start this before November. My OG Kush is looking fantastic on run 2. I’ll get some pics and share the modified feeding schedule that’s worked. Also have a for sure keeper of the Rolex OG Kush hybrid. The peyote is nice but 7.4/10 and only keep 9/10 or up. Rolex OG Kush looks like she’ll be low 9 range. Frost Monster and terps are becoming more complicated as she developed. Buds are large and dense. Still about 4 weeks to go, she’s an 11 week strain.

About to start the soil for the next run. It’ll be a journal of the OG Kush. Not gonna matter much that was hydro. I want to use Natural Farming. Thinking about starting with Cootz to get a start and understanding. 12 plants, 15 gallon Pots with a drip system. 1 layer of SCROG, & 2 Nets.
Lights- 4x 1000W HPS, 1x 440 W LED (IDK much about it my buddy gave it to me. Hang it in the center of the 4/HPS bulbs.) 4x UVB T5s.
CO2, RO water, Sealed Room. I pull in 4 weeksish. Finish room. Gonna do my research tonite on the method I’m gonna use. And can implement in about 6-8 weeks. Gonna run Happy Frog, Ocean Forest, & Worm Casting up to 5-7 gallons.
