Day 21 of 12/12

It seems that all my fan leaves are slowly losing their green, and looking at back pics it seems that thing use to be a lot darker. I thought the lower fan leaves leaving was because of a lack of light and the plant restructuring due to the net and stretch. I thought I was maybe chasing a cal/mag or nitrogen deficiency. Have done a couple top top dressings. Been using compost teas and some cal/mag, hit them with jacks 20/20/20 two days ago and still no change. Now I'm wondering it if is an excess K is slowly locking everything out. Maybe too much light for the space? Taking the kelp meal out of the compost tea, see if that changes anything. I don't know, keep riding this out I guess.

I'd say its the kelp. I had the same thing happen using sea-k soluble kelp extract along with dr earth dry amendments. Same thing, locked out N l, started fading and burning the edges of the leaves like yours. I cut the kelp and backed the lights off for a few days

Thanks for the reply!

How long did it take to show progress once you cut the kelp?

I just hope I didn't screw up flower too bad being 3 weeks in now.

The shit show rolls on. Day 28 of 12/12

I have cut out the kelp in the compost tea. The plants have gotten a lot more greener, to the point now it looks like a N deficiency, but I'm pretty sure they are just recovering. Although now it looks like there is either nute burn or something else going on, but I can't decipher what it is. So, the shit show rolls on and we are hoping to make it to the finish line.

Day 35 of 12/12

I thought things were getting greener but now they seem to be regressing again. No clue what is going on. Just trying to make the finish line.

They are progressing though, they have fattened up some. First pistols have started to go brown.

As much as I'm still wary of their leaf colors it seems to be where they want to be, or where they have recovered to after the excess K (I think anyway) indent.

They continue to fatten up and move along progression wise.

The only thing I can't figure out is there seems to be zero smell. I open the door everyday hoping to be greeted by a all of smell and nothing.

When I squeeze a bud (I try not to an only do popcorn stuff now) and smell my fingers I can smell different scents. Or if I touch a sugar leaf, or brush up against one of them while poking around, same thing I can smell fragrences then.

But otherwise I swear no smell, I can put my nose right up next to a stalk/bud and I can't smell anything.

I can't figure it out, or what I'm doing wrong.

Day 56 of 12/12

Still moving forward and plumping up. Unsure if possible foxtailing some or just growing new things.

Seems most of Brothers Grimm stuff is 63-70 days, per them anyway. So I'm guessing 14-21 days yet, time will tell.

The front two are pretty dramatically bigger than the back two. To be expected for the back left as I stunted it and it was never able to catch back up. The back right is just smaller, not sure why, maybe the front two just stretched more, maybe there is a difference in light getting to them, no clue.

Leaves on the front right are really starting to go, the leaves on the front left and back right I think actually look better, lol. Who knows.

Anyway, starting to get excited, I think I see the light at the end of the tunnel and getting a harvest.

Decent job, flowers look really nice. Some strains are just bitchy like that one. Good on you to not panic and make things worse, and stick with it through the problems. Your reward will be some full jars in a few weeks, and some new beans soaking.

I wouldn't worry about the smell.

If your light intensity is low, then the cannabanoids will not volotize off the plant. That's what makes the smell in the tent, is the alcohols burning off from the lights. As long as you get a nice sticky smelly pinch off the nugs on a squeeze test, you're good to go. It will come out more during the cure.
