Ok I hope this is how you start a journal. Well i started the grow 2 weeks ago. Then the dwc tipped over do to my stupidity. I had a box under it to move it closer to the light, added too much water and the box weekend. So I started a new one four days ago. Its going great, but i am new so here is my setup.

I have a 5 gallon tote that 4 gallons of water goes in with 4 plants. There was a 4 foot flro 2 light in this house when I moved here so I just unhooked it and moved it to my room (I also have 3/ 3 gallon buckets under same light with 3 plants in each there in dirt though). i dont know the spects of light and plan on getting cfl this week.

I only have sorry ass miracle grow but will be going to get proper nutes next week here are some pics and some questions I have, and if anyone has any advice for me to the look of my plants please help.

1- what cfl could i get, I am on a budget?( i know how to build a fixture)
2- I bought a couple of mylar blankets from wal-mart cut and taped to card board and have placed around my plants is this good or bad?
3-what a good cheap nute to use?
4-will this system hold 4 plants all the till harvest time? ( if all are female)

Also i have a different area for flowering with no light leaks.

I have one lemon kush (fingers crossed) and the rest are seeds from my dad ( but he always has good weed). No names so i will make up names later lol.

1:for vegging get u some 65k 26 watts, and 27k for flowering.

2:thats not bad at all

3:m/g but sux u might want to spin some change for some good nutes

4: i do soil so idk sorry

well man you need to deff lower the light and get a fan going soon to get some air flow and helps get stem a lil stronger every one talks about nuts and getting exspensive ones i got some shults 10 15 10 water sul and they have never done me wrong lil strong to start with so i dumb them sown but have had good luck . also for lights go to the doller store if you have one got my light cfl 30 watt 150 equive for $1.00 got like 25 of them 12 for veg 6500k and 13 for flower at 2700k really cheap and work just as good as th ones i have from walli world gl and toke up

i was talking to deos69 about the nute mix's....it has a lot to do with your plants heath and production...

Oh, well i lowered the lights and will update some pics in a week still concerned with white growth on hydroton and rockwool

I also put a fan in today. I am still worried that the plants will get to big for the dwc set up. I don't have the funds right now to buy or build anything bigger. Is there a way to keep the plants small and still get good weight out of them, and harvest just as quick.

ok i know this is dwc. but as you seen in my pics i have some dirt plants also. two of the plants leafs are looking weird. here are some pic. how do i solve this problem?

hey man. from what I can tell that dirt looks really bad for bud no doubt the roots are struggling and there are probably high levels of some wierd things in that SOD.

OMG you somehow remind me of me when I first got going lol I Did dwc and dirt just in case one or the other didn't work I also used MG Lol Bad idea and the survival blankets lol I like them
