Cultiuana CT-660w & a 1 plant scrog

I dropped to 60% this weekend and lowered them about 4". I'm heading into week 11 and I figured it was best to tone it down as much as possible. My one bigger Steve Lemme OG is throwing nanners on the buds that really got toasted so I'm trying to limp that one home without compromising the others too much. As far as foxtailing, check out this bud. It looks like it's ready for Halloween lol. IMG_20221016_162829134_HDR~2.jpg
I'm going to run this light 100% for the next cycle I do. I'm just going to flip really early so I have the headroom. I just want to see what it can do if it's got the space. Good luck with your changes.

Ohhh I bet that’s gonna be a purdy nug when all said & done.
II’m hoping for better results starting with younger plants to get them used to the light. I literally flipped the light a week or so after getting the plant under it. I also want to run Athena with their high ec program. Maybe it’s a better option for these higher powered lights.

Once they're dialed in I think the yield per watt potential is pretty damn good for a scrog grower with a nice even canopy. I might have to tweak my growing style from the old cob light way of thinking. Really focus on an even canopy, because at 80 and 100 percent the difference in a few inches of height is between great growth and crispy.

The colas in the back are solid. Already packing weight. I can imagine they are going to plump up quite a bit. I kept an eye on the breeder as he was growing it on his end.
I flipped on 9/28, so we’re at day 52. We’ll see how she takes these next few weeks.

As the yellowing seems to be making itself at home & not leaving any time soon… we are just going to get acquainted. Day 55 of flower so there shouldn’t be too much to worry about. I’m probably looking at another 2-3 weeks. I think we can manage.
Given the density of the buds, i’m pretty glad my RH is low.

The leaves on/in the actual buds are still a nice green, it’s just everything else. I’ve tried everything I’m going to try. I’m just going to feed as I have been, and keep an eye on her. I have been making sure to get more run off to wash out any salt build up with a gallon of fresh water prior to a feeding.
Shouldn’t be much longer, harvest time is near.

I had the same yellowing pattern on the OG Kush strain but it was worse in severity. My thought was I had just stressed them so much with high light intensity that it was just cumulative light damage building up. Everything below the top 8" was green and healthy but I had white bleached areas on some leaves on the top and everything else up top just yellowed and had to come down a week earlier than I wanted. The buds were nice and dense once I trimmed them, it's just trimming dead fan leaves out of thick buds is a pain. I have plenty of respect for the power this light throws out now though.

Most definitely gotta give @Cultiuana credit where it’s due. If it were some low grade light light, I can imagine I’d just have burnt everything to a crisp with the feeds I’ve been hitting her with at times. Most I’ve had on the ec meter is 2.7. I have tip burn that’s crept in this last week. Probably due to me trying to compensate for the lack of feed which brought us here most likely. I’m not stressing it. It’s all just about to get clipped off, I’ve just been waiting for them to canibalize a little more.

I'm going a week more and then chopping unless I see something different this week. Everything is bowed over from the weight they've put on the last few weeks and I'm ready to see how they smoke lol. I'm getting new plant fever, I've had these going for over 5 months now. Can't wait to see your finished buds.

From what I have already been able to tell for weeks now is this girl is going to be heavy as hell. You know how you get a zip, or qp, and you’re like.. “this is it?” Lol this is going to be one of those.
I can only imagine what’s going to happen in these next couple of weeks.
Ihave been meaning to ask, in your experience does Kush go for a long time? I was planning on about 11 weeks. Idk how much more weight this girl can gain though. That cola in the back feels like the top of a baseball bat.

It depends on the cross in the hybrid but usually 10-12 weeks from flip with the ones I've grown. The more pure kush lines seem to finish up faster and some take a little longer. The weight gain in the last two weeks is crazy. I break the big colas up to dry to avoid mold in the middle because I don't care about huge buds. There's nothing better than a chunky indica nugget.

Oh you can say that again lol :bigjoint:
I’m ready to give her all the time she needs. If any deficiency starts creeping up into the sugar leaves I may cut her short, but if it starts with the lows, I’ll let em get cannibalized as I’m only interested in the tops. I can do without edibles. The wife don’t listen to me & they never come out right. Everything below the tops will get frozen for a hash run.

I'll make butter with the lowers since I blasted them with the fan to keep mold away. I don't have patience or time to trim larf. I left too much when I lollipopped them. Now that I have a better idea of the penetration for the light I'll keep the canopy flatter and less deep. We can't legally make hash in VA so I'm stuck with edibles until they change the dumb law.

I’ve been able to keep RH down to 37-41% with lights on & under 60% at lights out. Cracking the window with as cold as it’s been helps greatly this time of year.
I have yet to encounter pm, or rot indoors, but I’ll never stop checking for it in high risk areas & situations like high rh spikes.

I added the second layer of trellis to give some of them a little space. We’re just riding it out from here. Next run I will be running Athena, wr will see if I have any feeding issues then. There’s no turning back for this plant.
