Here we are day 4 from flip.
Light turned up to 40%. (264w)

Second layer of the trellis is in. Now we wait for her to stretch into it.
The light is already at its max hanging height allowable with my inline fan & carbon filter inside & above it.
I will be going in there one of these days to strip what’s not going to be beneficial at this time, which is everything below the net & any new growth that’s not moving vertically.
I may or may not be doing a 21 day defoliation. 1771AB89-90ED-4B03-B514-8D26C5C92DDC.jpegC0A199B4-9EF4-4F95-A962-FC502DE73BEB.jpeg746665FC-E305-42FA-9C8D-869F64D3DBD5.jpegEEB100B8-DC05-421A-8413-98DF578AB82D.jpeg7ABF6BDF-AF3E-454D-92AD-80CEB31A949B.jpegF5A046B3-DDFF-4275-B433-6759876202AC.jpeg98D2E611-4185-4E6D-BDC2-134B98ECC1E7.jpeg

Awesome picture, I love the angle. Plant looks great, really nice job managing the canopy.
Thanks, I’m definitely trying. I have a roller coaster of tops, but I think I should be ok if I use the second net to hold the tall ones down. I may just spread em out. The breeders tops were pretty fat & I rather not cramp them all together. Just got off a call with a friend down south who is discovering botrytis in his colas as we speak. Had to let him go so he can find any more. Hoping not.

10 days & we’re almost at the next net. Looks like I may be lowering it for the rest of the cycle. I will give her a few more days to see if she’s done stretching or not.
So far the plant loves waking up to this light.
Power has just been turned up to 80%.

Sweet man looks amazing that's some pro canopy management, so you suggest turning light power up significantly around day 10 of flower?

As high as I have it, and considering this unit isn't running Samsung's.. I'm just winging it. The par map shows low 700's in the center.. dropping to mid 400's - low 500's on the edges. I thought I turned the light up to 40% on Thursday, but it was 60%.. the light dimmer is in the corner & hard to see. Each notch is 20%, and I'm 1 away from max.

Also, considering these aren't Samsung diodes, I will most likely lower the light later in flower around week 4-5 for more intensity.

At 100% power with the Cultiuanna I'm running I'm getting between 55-65K LUX at around 18". That's roughly 975-1150 umols. The edges are about 750-800. I definitely bleached the bubba kush strain out at this level on the tops but the other strain loves it so I only raised the light 2" since noticing the bleaching. I should have waited a few weeks from flip to hit them as hard as I did but if the worst that happens is some bleached tops I can live with it.

Today they seem to be getting to the end of their stretch. Considering my previous couple of runs I have done minimal defoliation, this run will be getting a nice deep defoliation early.
This is at day 13 from flip.AF229C88-B341-473B-A9E8-E99CD9986CBD.jpeg333CF89A-F07D-47C2-A4A0-AC0315CF6B36.jpeg5E4AC229-84C3-4E85-8063-51999D668412.jpegD9454FA8-624E-40EC-BC27-97303EEEBB06.jpegA14291AB-8997-4763-B888-B19C5651A48E.jpeg9D7C2A40-301E-47E4-B46E-DB17D2F18B50.jpeg
The top layer of netting is removed for now, may only be set back up for support later on. (If needed) 2B5414A6-5C60-4D10-882B-365CE1D5A1FA.jpeg

week 2 day 2 since the flip & she is all done with her stretch. Everything seems to be ok by me. She’s got a bit of tip burn due to low humidity affecting transpiration. I’m changing my mind now about incorporating a humidifier. :wall: C8C25297-7755-424C-865B-EEABA9FAF6AC.jpegBB1C0874-AC11-4A5E-89B2-33A27F771CD6.jpeg564B9B0F-99BC-4CCE-AC28-F14CA9245E22.jpeg646EEDB2-E3BA-432F-AB9A-80BAF3D18E3F.jpeg
Most of the tops are 2ft even from the light, the lowest top is 30” from the light. I may leave them as is when defoliation is done, or some branches will be manipulated to get a clear shot at the most light they can get in their position.
I was thinking about using the second net to bend and hold the tallest tops down (supercropping) to get them closer to the same level as the lower tops, but I’m not feeling it at the moment. A584F198-DA13-4658-AFDB-814F19CD44BB.jpeg
The supercropped branches have healed well. 47F3EB50-6057-4011-8ABD-C94B197A889E.jpeg
Also have some yellowing coming in from the lower leaves. This actually freaked me out, because of the position the plant is in.. the bottom of the plant is all around the center of the net where I began bending branches.
So it looked like it was all over the place. 6193BF26-F628-4ADD-B321-6B3AE0ACD247.jpeg
I am in the process of doing a defoliation. Getting it done now rather than later. Whatever grows in will be taken through sickness & health - til chop do they part (unless they die first)

Looking awesome bud. Kinda looks like a little K deficiency with the yellow edges. And that tip burn can actually be K deficiency too. Just a thought. Keep it up man, she's purdy.

@PadawanWarrior yay or nay for a possible bandaid? Considering the ingredients & the look on my plants face, it fits.

You're doing the organic thing this time right? Langbeinite is a decent source of K, Mg, and S, but it's potent so you gotta be gentle. But too much Mg can lockout K. Ca can lock out K too. I use Langbeinite all the time anymore in little amounts. I've fought K deficiency a bunch.

Either way, that plant looks great and there's barely any of those symptoms.

Nah, you’re thinking about the outdoor plant. This one has taken a barrage of nutes lol

edit: I do have some langbeinite tho.

Day 22 since the flip. I did some defoliation to get that light down to the lower bud sites, but I haven’t finished.
The light has been lowered to 18” from the tallest top, which makes the shortest top 23” away. Considering we are in week 3 i should be turning the light up to 80%, but since I just lowered it making the intensity raise on the leaf surface I’m holding off for now. Maybe by next week I’ll raise it to 80% for a week before maxing out at 100%. (Subject to change according to the plant)

I haven’t gotten into the whole dli & checking the lux/ppfd, but I will be checking to see where I am soon.

Temp & RH have been leveling out to more comfortable numbers.
