Day 28 from the flip. Light kept at 60%.
Previously at 80% & not falling in line with my feeding & the environment. I moved the light a couple inches closer today. I’ll be upping the feed tomorrow.

They're looking good man! I finally gave in and cut my light down to 80% from 100. I just needed about 4-6" more height and I could have run it at 100 but it's been torching the tops of my bubba kush and I can't go any longer without really doing some damage so I turned them down. Have you done any measurements yet on the light or are you just reading the plant?

I’ve just been keeping an eye on her. She’s gotten a little yellowing creeping up from the bottom. Lacking a little N & mag, possibly K as well.
I’ve been feeding GH Maxibloom at 1.5 teaspoons pg every other watering. I alternate supplements in between such as calmag, fish & seaweed emulsion & a little PK from Athena. Haven’t been keeping track of ppm, only my input ph. Using Athena balance (potassium silicate) for PH up. Feeding 6.3-6.5. I was thinking of flushing with a few gallons of water just to wash out any salt build up I may have accumulated & get her back on track.
Its also possible that I may just up the feed & get more run off.
I’m usually not going for much runoff when I water. I’m also going to wash the outside of the pot to assist with letting those excess salts go. The pot is pretty stained up.

Just going to monitor this particular cola.
I have done some defoliation throughout the plant, however I kept this back section on the bushy side. Mostly due to laziness, but I want to keep watch to see there’s any difference in this section. 181E2C97-75E6-4562-A920-9928B0C8F8FE.jpeg38093C84-C8D8-40D6-8566-FA02ADB8AD90.jpeg
Again…Most of the plant has been stripped of most of the leaves up top.

It’s getting pretty thick back there. Not necessarily a bad thing.
I do have some yellowing creeping up from the bottom, the plant as a whole has seemed to lighten up as well. I’m ruling out a lack of food in the medium & thinking salt build up is interfering.
I have not been watering enough to get sufficient run off. Just watering enough to fully saturate the medium.
(presuming that’s what I’m doing)
I’m not in there to tell if it’s all moist after water is applied, but it’s ok. She will survive.
I’m going to probably use water & calmag only to do a little flush, and follow up with a healthy feeding. Win, lose or draw with this current issue will be updated later this evening. 44252640-C63D-4404-9AC4-E21E19D64DCE.jpeg

Okayyyyy so I shortened the distance… but then

Well.. I forgot to dim the light down. Had way too many things going on at the time I was trying to get it done (I really should have waited)
So they were getting hit with a higher intensity than before.. what did that do?
Lots of yellowing everywhere except the section in the back that I kind of left alone. (significantly less defoliation)
Been feeding GH maxibloom 1.5 tsp per gallon every other watering without getting much runoff . I fed her last night with about 15-20% runoff after letting her dry out from being over watered. Lots of things going left.
It will be back under control soon. Just going to start getting more run off & keeping an eye on my ec. I’ve been feeding maxibloom @1.5tsp per gallons.
Conclusion I have come to: I brought it on myself by stripping so much off of her. Not evening out defoliation so nutrients can be distributed evenly throughout the plant. (Lots of things aren’t even) :wall: :eyesmoke:
On top of the light being at 60% @ 14” when I was already trying to recover from the environment being off balance.
I should really be rerunning something I’m already familiar with under a new light.
:wall: We live & learn.
If anyone reading can lend some info if they’re catching something off, please feel free to step in & point me in the right direction. This is my first Kush. Maybe I’ll rename the clone Fisher Price Kush :bigjoint: Lol

Edit: The light has been raised from 15” to 19” powered back down to 60%

I know everyone has their own ideas/opinions but i've found every time i increase the light intensity the ec requirements go up quite dramatically overnight, I'm not kidding by overnight.

Using run off as a guide it keeps them healthy for the most part, if I ignore it i get problems.

The day after I increased the power i could tell something wasn't right the leafs looked a kind of dull limey/yellow colour.

I was letting someone know in a thread that I was using 2tsp of maxibloom per gallon & it was picked at as if they knew my plant. It was 1 plant covering the 4x4 like this one, so just the fact that the plant was huge it was eating a lot more.
I’m going to up her feed. Next watering which should be tomorrow since I watered yesterday.

Looks awesome man, it's gonna be just fine, mine is confusingly still alive & has zero healthy fan leaves left lol ;-)
Thanks man. I’m probably going to be in the same boat. Something in me wants to blast the light and keep the door open to cool it down.

Took these pics the day before yesterday. (Week 6, day 5)
Just to keep track of the yellowing, which seems to have slowed down after me letting her dry back a bit. She was getting over watered. I’m guessing my roots didn’t fill the pot. I have a nice amount of soil at the bottom of the pot that likes to stay moist longer than usual. I’m assuming there’s no roots populating that area. The plant is up on a riser 24/7 & soil is well aerated with perlite.
Now I have to wait for her to start eating again. Last feed I gave was 4 days ago, and may have been a little too much. Tip burn came in hot. 7142454E-2410-4BBE-A111-37236DB2E073.jpegD8AE3AA1-B6DB-4E18-AC56-0EFFDC8FF03D.jpegB8846C55-B7EE-4405-B7A4-A67102003D50.jpeg9851FF8B-D03C-43EA-9E84-464D213CACC7.jpeg68D0D5C9-553F-42CB-B860-B2503EA43F1D.jpeg69F32A95-9305-4C03-ADE0-8EE08A2F7F1B.jpeg

Hey buddy, looking at the par map for the 720w suggests 100% is too much light without Co2 i expect your 660w will be in the same ball park.

My lights at 80% just now and 20-21" from the canopy.

Apparently 900/1000 ppfd/umols without Co2 is most efficient?

I’ve definitely backed off. It’s like I got that little devil on my shoulder whispering *crank that bad boy!* but then again.. I can see it’s beating the plant up in unison with my recent neglect. I am currently running 60% at 25”.

Noticing that the rear of the tent is just getting way fatter than the middle & front. It’s not making sense, but I’m over it. I’m pretty sure this girl is going to see it all the way through.. she just might not look like the trophy wife by the end :dunce:.
Now with these new foxtails coming in.. let’s see what gang signs she’ll be throwing up in a couple weeks lol. 02E9E292-2FF8-40BA-8A8C-1F8C2285F642.jpeg4C764D07-6BB0-481E-9900-A232B7408FE3.jpegFE1BC7FB-B232-4D5D-81DF-AC662C31D8D8.jpeg

That's what happened to me man, the devil was saying go for it and I looked at the angel on the other shoulder and it put on sunglasses and said Hit It! I'm never trusting those little bastards again.

Since that last post I opened the tent & cranked it to 100% after I fed them. I hit them with 1/2tsp of cha-ching from FF just because it was there. Not bothering with ph. Soil should be good.
I now have a bottle of Microbial Mass & wondering if this will only widen the rabbit hole as it makes some nutrients “More available”
Well if I’m under feeding already.. just put the nail in the coffin right? Lol
I will start using it on my veg plants to test it out.
