It seems like every video link thats about some cop doing something fucked up is broken or bad/removed... What happened to freedom of speech? what happened to showing people the REAL DEAL? When it comes to cops the government wants you to think they can always be trusted.

Trust noone!

And whats up with police agencies recruiting ex military? A friend of mine (marine) got pulled over by an ex marine drunk as hell, didnt get a test or anything... the cop called his parents to come get him and his car. Sounds cool as hell right?

If that were you, you'd be FUCKED... FUCKED!

do we need a military policing us? I SAY NO!!!!

Get out while you can!!!!

They had to take it off because now there is a lawsuit. It compromises the legitimacy of the suit. That's how it works when there is a trial and even when you get sued! You do not want live evidence in the open because it can waive possible jury members. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty even if by tricky means....

Hmmmmm......although the vid is still up on that news site......I did watch it. That is not neccessarily police brutality. Depending on the situation as to why they were there they could perceive him as a threat. You do not know what was in his hands or what he could have under his clothes. You have to think like an officer too. You are there because something is going down and there is a fear because of not knowing. Anyways.....they probably could have shot him. YouTube probably took it down because the video is property of somebody else's archive and somebody complained or the user that had it up may have had other copyrighted videos - YouTube is selective in who they shut down and it is not fair but they can because their site is free. I wonder what the outcome of this will be. He will probably be able to get some money for pain and sufferring but it does not persuade anybody against what they might have had that was illegal in the premisis even if there was not a search warrant. That's just the reality of things. The law is getting more twisted and iffy these days so we will just have to see if somebody can change this or if it gets even more out of hand and even worse.

Wow....that is very interesting. Really though if police have probable cause they can search.

Let's use this scenario....a family member or close friend is murdered. The police have a suspect and many people have implicated them in the happenings. They said they know for sure and he or she was bragging about the occurrence. The police know that the suspect is hiding in somebody's house. They go there to question him or her without a search warrant. Then they see him or her in the background with a gun in their pants. Would you find it objectionable for those police to bust into that house without a search warrant to arrest the person they know killed your loved one? Well see when the tables are turned we want another plate to pick from.

except that's not what happened, and also that is a pretty ridiculous hypothetical situation.

Is that a gun in your pants, or are you just happy to see me?

DAMN THAT WAS A BURN! I've had cops fuck with me for videotaping... but I've never been tased by them...

Let me tell you for those of you who don't know... Getting hit with a stun gun is bad, but having two prongs shot into your skin, and THEN used to electricute you under the skin... that's a whole different world of fucked up pain.
