Im not getting the results Im aiming for. Im reading that the temperature plays a big role in your final product.
I have a vac chamber, and understand that under a vacuum all of the temperatures needed for purging drop drastically.
My next run Im hoping to never exceed 115 F, and only vacuum without heat.
My only question is.........
When blasting through the column into the collection dish, most people do this into hot water. I bring my water to a boil and then let it cool for almost 5 minutes. Is the water of the temperature too high? Im having a hard time getting good temperature readings at this step.
Im looking to achieve "spongebob" "honeycomb" wax. I keep getting dark amber shatter or taffy.
