Which Plant Will Produce Better Quality Buds?

ok ladies and gents i have an issue with my pistils not turning color. im in the 9th and week of flowering(8 week strain) and i thought i was kinda odd that the pistis are still 95% white. yesterday i looked through the scope and i saw a sea of milky white trichs and maybe one or two amber trichs, but like i said all white trichs, and the calyxes really havent started to swell . this is strange because this never happened to me before. what should i do? should i give it another week, two weeks to see if they change? should i chop it now and avoid the thc degrading? dont want to take a loss of yeild, but if i wait and give the flowers time to swell the thc might be degraded to an undesirable point. PLLEEAASSS!!!!! someone give me some advice on this, as i am stumped.

naa its alright man. ur not jackin it. lol. if i were u i would wait another week.. and se ehow its doin then.. some plants are wierd.... and the hairs and trichs wont change until the last week or 2... Pineapple express does that sometimes. and i think if anything the buds will get fatter.. soo u wont have to worry about a loss of yield. =)

i've cut down a lot of bud with white hairs, when the dry over the week they turn orange i'd say cut, A lot of the times hairs will just keep growing and growing, whats the strain? How long is the flower period suppose to be? I ALWAYS cut on the first couple amber trichs i see, i like more of a head high the a couch lock.

any1 know how long it usually takes?? or can any1 give me their shipping times. i have a htgsupply store about 1 hr from me.... im wonderin if that will make the shippping time faster? i hope. and another quick question..... how many do oyu guys think i can growin under 1 400 watt HPS? i kno it depends on size.. im thinkin 2-3 ft tall plants

thanks man. yeaa i LOVE that picsw i took of the nodes... it looks madd cool. hahaha. and those lil side branches are branchin out pretty far now.. its remindin me of my 1st White Widow plant.. soo hopefully i get a yield like that. thatd be nice. 3+ dry ounces.

NICE! youll love HPS no more moving bulbs around, your setup will look way more professional, and your nugs will get even denser. My roommate up stairs has a closet that about 3.5' x 5' and has TWO 400w hps in there and i put my light meter in there and even 4-5 feet away, the needle was topped out on BRIGHT ( LOL yes i have a shitty light meter that was a scale of Dark - BRIGHT, and yes bright is in all caps) The heat right now isnt an issue at all, its getting winter here and outside temps never go above 60 anymore(just gettin colder too) so hes got a 6" tube bringing cool air in from the outside and it stays 75* all day and gets down to 60 at night, he gana put a heater in there to keep it above 60 as its getting colder. You might have to look at bringing cool air in or venting out the hot air ( Could use it to heat your room?). Decided on the magnetic ballast huh? Make sure you have a good spot as far away from your bed, the buzzing is a little on the annoying side when they first come on, after an hour the get a little quieter. I just picked up a 1000w, hood, bulb, ballast, and a shitty light moving rail off craigslist for......... 100 BUCKS! lol i drove away from his house so happy! some old guy that just doesn't grow anymore, he told me his son does now and is way better lol! Anyway enough rambling for me cant wait to see the Update when theres a nice HPS in there! I would guess 5 days for shipping excluding weekends maybe sooner depending on were their main warehouse is and you are. You'll probably wana try and find a MH conversion bulb for CHEAP that'll keep that tight node spacing when your vegging, or just use 6500k CFL's for vegging, you obviously know what your doing and the CFL end of things lol.

I should of told you with the floja that multiple tops and supercropping is the way to go. One top will give you hardly any yeild at all. I usuallly fim/top in veg and one week before flower switch i supercrop. But looking good though bro.

hmmm. yeaa im wonderin if mthe heats gonna be a problem... =/ we'll see. i woul deff use it to heat my room tho. my closet it sumwat close to my window... soo im sure i can rig up sumthin. im good at making things work. hahaha. and i kno the otha day i was talkin about how little my closet was.. adn how it would b hard ot fir 4-5 plants in there... but i was lookin at the floorspace earlier 2day... adn ill have PLENTY of room... its just cuz i have all the cfl's and lamps etc. layin all over the floor ya know... ill have all that stuff gone. =)

and yeaa imgonna just keep usin the cfl's for veggin. cuz im gonna alwyas have sum plants veggin while i have sum plants flowering... gonna still run 2 plants every 4 weeks... soo ill have 2 plants at 4 weeks flowering.. 2 that are JUST goin into flowering.. adn ill be startin 2 more in vegging.. adn will have just harvested 2 plants... that should gimme an average of 4 ounces every 4 weeks.. or 1 ounce a week.. as long as plants finish in 8 weeks... and i get roughly 2 ounces per plant.. these are all estimates tho.

both of my aurora indica seeds popped... soo ill be paltnin those soon. =) i gopt 2 of them. and also... afriend will be sending me 10 of his Ice seeds.. =D soo those will be next on the list. =)

lol. whoops. lol. oo well. the 1 top bud is gettin pretty fat.. an dit pretty fuckin solid man.. like rock solid. wen i squeeze it.. the bud doesnt push in at all. lol. its fuckin frosty as shit too!!

but... one problem i seem to be havin.. is for sum reason.. alotta the leaves (mostly on the top) were turning brown and crispy.. adn eventually dies. so i trimmed htem off.. adn that happened to most of the ones on the top.. even the very tip of the bud was/is gettin crispy. adn som of the hairs almost look to be burned off... idk how tho?? the bulbs are lik 2-3 inches away.. once i saw it start browining.. i moved it further away.. but im still havin the same problem.

but oo well. lol. its almpost done. still looks bomb. adn im gonna grow sum more after the ice for sure!! i want that purple pheno!!! hahahaha. adn now wiht the 400 watt HPS.. that sjould help. adn ill top/fim this time around. thanks for the tip man.

The last 2 weeks on this strain is crucial also. Most of the weight will come in the last 2 weeks so be patient. How much longer do you think you have?

Long time man...you have been a busy boy. Plants look great. Your going to like the 400, just be ready to deal with the heat...

Just starting up again. All 3 weeks from seed. I have 4 Bubba Kush, 2 SLH, WW, White Rhino and Lemon skunk all GHS seeds, not planned just turned out that way...lol

Had a Big Bang and a Red Diesel, they popped but that was it...I was bumbed about the Red Diesel...oh and one BK, I f'ed it up trying to help it get the hull off it little head and I broke its neck..lol

Hey SG15 I was going to look you up...yea I used the 2 gal smart pots last grow and I really like them. Thats is the same ones...I letem dry, hose them off, throwem in the wash with some bleach and they are good to go. I am just going to uppot to 3 or 5 gal before flower...more soil more root more bud I HOPE!lol

i actually got about 2 weeks left.. maybe a lil less. i wanna lastr last monay was week 6. soo ill wait it out. =) aftewr the ice im gonna try a few more of the floja.. now that i have a 400 watter... i can grow more than 1.. adn try to get that beautiful purple pheno

i know there are a few diff phenos.. there is a purple pheno.. maybe u can get that.. the smaller one looks like it may end up more sativa. either way tho. im sure theyll turn out great with way u take care of ur plants. =)
