I wasn't planning on smoking weed in China, but it seems like everywhere I go it is just so easily available.
Anyways, here is what some of China has to offer:
Price - 500 yuan (~$70-80USD, or ~$100CAD/AUS) for roughly 10-15 grams. A fair price I think, given the penalties for selling the stuff here
Look/smell - not bad! Looks and smells like generic mid-grade, like something your dealer might have pulled out of his pocket in high school. A far cry better than the condensed brick of other countries. When broken up you can still get some of the flavorful smells in some buds, smells very pungent and sweet, like the strain "cotton candy", but milder.
Potency - potency might differ from bud to bud a bit, but overall not bad either. My guess is that it's a pretty even hybrid, maybe a bit sativa dominant. A nice change from the landrace sativas of Southeast Asia. It is full of seeds though, not sensimilla, so potency could be better.
Overall I'm impressed. Well done China. It's a cool thing being able to get decent weed in even the most foreign and strict countries.
