Cfl closet grow sativa *poor man*

nanners will usually have pollen, i've plucked them and got mostly seedless bud
some roosters throw pollen quick, some slower, misting with a bit of water can help a lot, wet pollen dies fast
water can be a mold hazard, but with these thin buds probably not a problem

Thanks I think i'll keep it around them. lol yea i have thin buds, not sure if you saw both my new posts, but check the other one out

the buds have improved, i saw that and congrats on some improvement
they wouldn't be mistaken for indica buds, sativa all the way, but that's the price for straight sativa
this thread is an inspiration, was very wary of trying to flower a sativa under cfl's, and most logs i followed either stopped or switched to other lighting

I would like to think i can call these formations "tiny buds" a little more mature than "preflowers"?
Just wish i had the faintest clue how much longer this will take.
Only 3 weeks left till I HAVE to chop and move to the new place.
Hope i get SOMETHING smokable

haha yup. Any guess on what my yield could have be on the 3ft plant if i were able to flower it all the way to ripeness?

with cfl's, i'd say no more than an oz, probably closer to a 1/2 oz
just a guess, but tell you the truth, if i get quality, i'd be fine with the 1/2 oz

Well here is the deal...every plant in there is over nuted...they all have too much nitrogen which is why they are growing and budding so slow...see how all the leaves are clawed and again the super slow growth...that is what that all means...it is too late to fix it now...but next go around remember less is more in veg and flower, but definitely when talking about veg nutes.

i agree with growone, not much with cfl,
but with say.. 400whps you'll yield 5 above ounces,


so when you shift to the new place your going too, if you gona have a grow setup make sure to design it for HID light,,



i have one plant it sprouted 1st of april , and on 23 april it reached 1 foot long with 9 nods, i fimmed the 9th and shifted to flowering, next day it grew 2 inches , its now 5 days into flower already, i calculated the time it would take from seed (even b4 germing) to dried buds, it would take 12weeks, this would be a record to me,
this could be done with 2 things, hydro setup and HID

I can't wait to live somewhere where i can grow with H.i.d's
I think this plant may need a lot more light that what i can give it, and the "bud" is just a few calyxes together.
super tiny buds, hardly any swelling, i'm sad and just want to harvest them and smoke and be happy

This would have been my star producer, but I broke/dropped lights on it and also cause it heat stress which have slowed down its development.

In terms of plant beauty, Hermie is my healthiest looking of them all

Here is my (still tiny) bud from the runt plant. I honestly dont really like its genetics apart from the fact that its the only one which grew without any big hitches. How much bigger a calyx could possibly get? I think there are just too few calyxes for my bud to get big even if they swell. right now i think its growing trichomes, i don't have a magnifier though.


How much longer from here before smoking it will get me high, I only have two weeks left before i'm forced to chop

Sorry you have to put a rush on your grow. I'm pretty sure if it has trichcromes then it will get you high.

from what i see in the 1st pic with the whole plant, you should do ok, 2 more weeks and i'll guess 5-7 grams of bud
anyone that grows sativa's indoors usually bitches about the weight they get, they're kind of a luxury

5-7 grams from a 3ft and a 4ft plant?? i find that claim a bit strange and quite offensive. you make it sound like i'd only get less half and ounce
even if i could allow the plant to grow till completion

didn't mean to offend, it's a guess, and that was just for the 1st plant pic because it gave a fairly clear picture
sativa buds just don't weigh that much, they don't have the density that indica/hybrids have
hoping for the best result, 2+ zips of trimmed bud would be great

yes, in tow weeks, if you chop it will get you high,

you'll yield around 30grams , not sure though

Compared to the other plants i've seen posted here, Mine looks pretty exotic i think Each leaf is soo tiny.
I think bud growth has just now began, so hopefully a waiting game from this point on.

very tropical looking sativa, some of the leaf looks pretty frosty, could be worth some hash making effort, get every bit of the harvest

Your plant is looking nice, I wish you could flower till end. I think you can still get a good yield but thats just me um gona be around to chk it out. Subbed +Rep .
I am on my first grow atm but my brother is growing this sativa not sure if its 100% sativa or hybrid.
Um gona tell him to flower it soon, your one got very tall.
