We're starting a new blog series where we invite one of our followers to write about their positive experiences with Cannabis. Our goal is to help push the legalise Cannabis movement forward and break down stigma's. In this first post, we have a blog from Giancarlo in London, who tells us his story about how Cannabis helped with his Chron's disease.

I hope you get something from reading it.

Here in Canada CD is on the top of the list to get legal. Just have to prove to a doctor it works.
I lost my only sibling to CD
This disease is awful. Pain can be really bad. The disease can travel from the top of your head to the tip of your toes.
It is in the bowel system mostly..
Doctors pump you full of steroids years later you get the fallout from that pill. Arthritis joint pains hard on teeth.

Can go on and on but there horror stories on this disease I could say.
Mj does help with it. Edibles.....
Should say I suffer from this disease to like I say I do have a lot I I could say. I to have lost part of my bowel system.
I only use mj for it no other pills just pot.

That's inspiring story. Many would have not realize how bad this disease is. But I really hope someday no one will suffer with this very painful illness when you can actually cure it.

I can see how marijuana would help with Crohns. I was diagnosed with Crohns when I was 18 and have had 2 major surgerys so far to remove some of my small intestine, not fun and left a nice scar, plus with the pain pills I developed a nice addiction. I guess i'm "lucky" though and I can go years without even noticing anything, then out of the blue it feels like i've been stabbed in the stomach it hurts so bad.

Hi Gary,
Very pleased that people are getting relief from cannabis. I just wanted to mention irritable bladder as a disease that responds to cannabis. I'm an old guy, post prostate surgery and find I have to pee very frequently...unless stoned. CBD alone doesn't help and even THC/CBD capsules don't do it...but a full plant extract (cannabutter most frequently) allows me to pee normally.
Keep up your good work,
JD
