Can Led lights Produce?

I bought a new 1000w led light and it seems to be working so far. Nice frosty buds 3rd week of flowering. I like it so much that i wanted to buy another one to double my light. I posted on roll it up a few weeks ago asking for advise and EVERYONE that responded pretty much said ALL led lights should be thrown away and burned because cob is the new cool so now all of the sudden led lights are worthless.... Am I the only one who likes leds? will They produce or should people start chucking them in the nearest dumpster and buy overpriced bags from the kids down the block? Im curious to hear the thoughts of others...

I cant be the only guy in America who likes leds right ? lol

COB's are a more efficient LED, that's it.
If your LED is relatively new, it will be fine.
Also, a 1000 watt LED must have cost some bucks, and it should be fine to grow like 4 plants nicely.
I use 360 watt fixtures for 2 plants each, and they do well
Good luck
Thanks buddy. Its not a true 1000 watt but i guess none of them are what they say they are. usually half from what i been hearing. It claims it can replace a 1000 watt hps.

Ive read some of those 1000w leds only pull in the 200watt areas. Some are different like 400ish. Which one do u have? I think the leds look cooler on a panel. I built a veg led light fixture and i love how it looks. 240 diodes "5630" led per panel 2 panels. And on a dimmer. It get super bright. Works great for my veg cab. Yeah i soldered all 32 strips and ill tell ya took about 3 so hours to put together but what do i have better to do on a sunday hahaha20170702_122933.jpg

Im well aware of all that info u just posted cobkits. I wouldnt consider getting one of those "1000w" amazon ebay grow lights lol i would diy a light before i bought one of those. I have a unit farm ufo80 in one of my flower areas i recieved as a gift and that thing is kicking ass. Probably a better overall light than that "1000w". Youd need to spend atleast 1000 dollars on a prebuilt led light that would be more efficient than a 1000w de hps. No thanks lol. But then again i dont grow on that kinda scale

and youd make back that $1000 in about 2-3 years in electricity and bulb replacements vs a $400-$500 DE HPS

Leds lights properly designed work great. COB's are another high bay light solution similar to HPS approach. Now horticulture industry involved and higher quality mid power diodes available now like Samsung Nichia etc.

I know u all will say its junk but my plants in my 3x3 tent think its great. lol. Great coverage for a small 8x15 light. Very bright 10w double chips
Tryna think. R they 5w double chips "10w" or 10w double chips "20w". Do u know? I think they r 5 watt chips 200 of em to get that "1000w" figure even though actual draw is 185w. Idk im stoned and just wondering lol
