I suppose the title is misleading. The question is will the produced pollen and offspring be sub par?

I'd like to start playing with a little breeding come fall, and wish to build a.... quarantine grow zone for the male, and then for the pollinating female.... I know flowering purely on CFL's simply doesn't produce the effects of flowering under a nice HPS bulb.

Anyone know what I'm sayin' or am I just sputtering gibberish at this point, Its gettin pretty late, lol

The seeds will have the same genetics regardless of how much light, nutes, etc you give the parents, so long as you don't cause any mutations. If you aren't using a bunch of chemicals, odds are you're safe on that front.

u can grow great buds with CFLS.. just need lots of them placed very close to the plants.. ive seen some great closet buds a few my friends grow with Cfls.. in there closets just to have free buds here and there.. and to have a hobby.. and never wana go any bigger.. and some of there buds are fucking amazing.. i couldnt believe it . until i saw it . but ive grown with cfls.. for breeding mainly.. but now a 400w does the job.. plus allows for more seeds to be produced quicker with faster growth of the plants and stretch..

Using CFL's (suggest using no lower than 400watter -500 better) any way they will have no adverse effects because of CFL use and can produce pollen; plants will not be "sub-par" their growing /charactertics are in their genes
