How cold do you usually turn down temps to in late flowering to bring out the colours, and when exactly do you do it.
I’m running 75 during the day and have gradually dropped to 66 at night. Also, should I be turning down day temps more, or just trying to get a good swing between night and day?

You can drop to mid to high 50s at night. That'll bring it out. I do it the last 2 weeks of indoor. Outdoors it does it by itself. If it doesn't, ice water will work when you water them.
So last 2 weeks, between say 55-60 degrees? And this won’t hurt flower development or anything?

That'll work. As long as it's during the dark cycle, it'll be fine. Then you can run normal 70s during lights on.

Awesome, and 75 isn’t too high? I was thinking about dropping to 74, but the thermostat has a 1 degree differential, so it’s actually at 74-75 right now during the day.

No, it's better warmer. You just want the color, not the hardening off that goes with it. If you keep it too cool for too long, you'll lose some swelling. It's minimal, but still.
Okay. Should I be warmer than 75 though? It’s no problem for me to do, but I’ve heard of some terpene loss with temps closer to 80.

No 75 is fine. I just meant keep it warmer with lights on than the 55-60 at lights off.
What about increasing the dark period to longer than 12 hours?

Why? That'll just slow bud growth in my opinion.
Yeah, I’ve heard it speeds up maturing of the buds, but can cost some growth.
Right before harvest, do you leave the lights out for a period of time? I’ve read some people do it for a day, I’ve heard others do it for an entire week)

I just harvest before the lights come back on. If I can't, I just unplug the lights and get to them when I can.
You can try it any way you want. Next harvest, just compare and see what you like better.
Yeah, I’ll have to just experiment and figure it out. A buddy of mine was the one who said to leave lights out for a week, and no water. Just going to harvest before lights come on the first time

You won't have to worry about watering when they are close. They'll stop drinking.
I wouldn't do a week. Maybe a day or 2 tops, but a week of no sunlight isn't good for anything but shrooms and mold lol.
so when do I stop watering? Do I want to soil to be dry near the end or will it dry out?

When the pots start getting heavy and stay heavy, they're pretty much done in a few days to a week. You should have their dry out schedule figured by now, so you'll notice the difference between uptake and evaporation.
Yeah, it seems to have slowed by about a day already, should have a couple weeks or more left though
