Your plants look amazing bud. If I can give you any advice! Do your own research, don't take bs advice from the people on hear everyone thinks they no it all. There are some really good people who give advice but rare to come across. Good luck and happy growing.

Lol yeah I know, it’s nice to have both though. And easier to tell who is full of shit this way!

Don’t worry, I always double check things myself! Next time I’m going to do a much more thourough “shwazzing” and I may switch to coco the grow after that.

Have heard good things about using “mega crop” but I feel like I would still want to have more control over what I’m feeding. I don’t see why I couldn’t use it alongside what I’m using now though, as a base nutrient.

If anyone has used Megacrop fertilizer, let me know what you think!

I wouldn't change a thing Groat21. Plants look awesome, and very healthy.

Whatever you're doing, don't change it.

Thanks! Did you look at my clones on the last page? Feel like I should transplant them, they’ve been under this dome for over a month(vents have been open for some time though)

Yeah, i probably would. Looks like just the right time to me.

Solid first run dude.

P.S. I'd probably wait a little on the clone in the secong pic. As soon as you see roots coming through the rockwool though, you should be good to go.

Also pretty damn impressive grow, given the light you're using too, have to say.

Take it easy mate.

Thanks! Yeah the light is just a cheap startup ($350 CAD total). I’ll probably upgrade after a few cycles or so.

I hear the cob leds are a good option, but there’s a lot more research to be done on that subject, like which spectrum is best, etc.

Let me know what you guys are using and how it’s working!

Help! One of my clones is dropping and the leaves/stem are turning are dark purplish colour.

My temp control was on the bottom of the box, so it was a bit warm in there. Also humidity was a bit low... have corrected both now though.
You straightened out conditions, that's about all you can do. You can lightly mist it to help it, but lightly.

Yeah, I figured it was one of those two things. I have more seeds, so worst case I’ll just start up another White Widow(the damaged clone).

Thanks for the quick response! Mist with straight water? And tap or R/O?

Yea just water, either or. I use tap because it's what I have, no issues.

You took the proper corrective measures, so props. Just baby it along lol.

The only thing with seeds is you lose the pheno, so the next could be better or worse lol.

I’ve heard a bit about this, but can you explain a bit more? Basically, different seeds of the same strain can produce different genetics?

Sure. The genetics of the strain parents will show in the offspring in differing degrees. Those are called phenotypes.

Example. Brothers and sisters of the same parents. They are all related and have traits of the parents, sometimes grandparents, etc, yet are all different in different ways.

Works the same with plants. Each gets different traits. That's why there are clone only strains. Specific phenotypes that are chosen for yield, potency, taste, aroma, etc.

Those phenotypes are often used as breeders and then thousands of those seeds raised to find that 1 or 2 that are the special ones, similar to world class athletes.

Interesting. Wish I could grow a few more plants to test that out.
