Brothers buddy has brain cancer wants to try MMJ what kind to do.

My brother has a buddy that told me today that he has brain cancer. I've looked around the net and it looks like it might help him.

He has never smoked cigarettes, has never done any illegal drugs. But he is willing to give MMJ a try.

From what I've read there is an oil that he can do, he can smoke, or eat it. My question is for brain cancer what way of ingesting it is best for his condition? Is there any other method that I'm not thinking of that might work?

Do you think that there would be a treatment difference between Indica and Sativa for brain cancer?

There really is very little on how to ingest oil properly or I'm looking in the wrong places. Any help would really be appreciated.

Usually medical patients use Volcano vapes. Not that I have experience, but I'd start the day off eating it, then vape until the effects from the edibles kicks in. The edibles will keep him good for about 4-6 hours, but edibles cost more. It's cheaper usually if you can get your own bud and make your own canna butter.

For someone who hasn't done it, I suggest a lower level of THC, the cheapest you can get. He can slowly go up to higher amounts later.

What are his symptoms? Indica will make him not feel as much pain, it'll make him hungry, and he'll be more calm (anxiety). A sativa, is mostly for entertainment. You can smoke as much sativa as you want and you'll just keep getting higher, where as an Indica you'll hit a ceiling and just get a headache. Sativas don't really stop pain or anything, they just make everything happy and more funny.

I'm no expert but...

My teacher had brain cancer and she said she had alot of visual disturbances and migraines. Perhaps a good painkilling indica is in order. And something that'll make your head take it slow and be chilled out as well without impairing your thinking ability too much... OG Kush? I'd have said buddha but that makes me too grinny and giggly and I don't think that is the point of the exercise for this man I guess.

**sorry to hear about ur buddy, hope all is well :)

--he can vape it, rollitup, bong it, eat it (edibles), and drink it (you can find some articles online about ppl juicing Cannabis :)

..cheers

He has headaches and dizziness. I can't remember the type of brain cancer, but I know it's moving fast. I have Sativa. Guess I'll have to find some Indica for him.

Thanks. I am a sativa kinda gal. Looks like I need a primmer in indica.

Sativa is popular for countering the lethargic effects of opiate-based painkillers. Patients often report that they enjoy the lift in spirits and energy they get from smoking sativa during the day.

I disagree. I tend to see it more as a Sativa is more for daytime/when you've got something to do (some strains help for pain) and Indica is more for nighttime/relaxation. Indicas never gave me a headache (and I have chronic migraines...) they do make you fall asleep if you smoke too much though :P
Sativas usually make me a tad paranoid when I've smoked too much

I say make him try a Sativa and see how he feels...if he gets some positive effects then it might be worth it to pursue an Indica strain...

either will help a lot, but an indica really helps with pain and stuff like nausea. You are correct that sativas are good for day time, and indica night and sativas giving paranoia if you're not used to it.

Indica or indica dominant hybrid... id say he needs the raw effects of cannabis to put him on the couch - let him eat - and let him enjoy a lack of headache and a very calm stomach...

As far as administration, i'd say either Volcano.... or Cannabis infused cooking oils..

You can infuse Olive oil, or Coconut oil, or even vegetable oil with cannabis (though id go with either of the first two)..... It's very healthy to eat, and you can put either in practically anything....

You can do cannabutter too.... But it's really not healthy to steadily ingest butter... Olive oil and Coconut is more forgiving on the body.

feel free to PM if you'd like info... I'm chop full. :-P

Good luck to your friend, I wish him well in his life. :peace:

he should probably try edibles... i dont think chokeing off a bong hit and cutting off oxygen to the brain would be the best idea.

There are a number of products capable of crossing the blood/brain barrier. I would google that.

There are so many things that can cause cancer besides cigarettes: living too close to power lines/transformers, flouride/chlorine in water, canola oil, soy products, artificial sweeteners, MSG (which is hidden using several other names, but found in most fast food fare...

Suggestions include: Juicing raw vegetable (Omega 8300 juicer)Krill Oil, Ubiquinol, Lipospheric C . I highly recommend it. Check out the amazing cures (available at Vitality Science). Also a regimen of Dr Hulda Clark liver cleanses. The liver is our oil filter. This is the only way to 'change' it. I have done 14 cleanses and take all the products I mentioned, though no for cancer. Do have a friend with prostate cancer who just got report with PSAs going down
