I was wondering that myself. I've never had a bud grow on a leaf. Took a macro shot to see if I could see anything

Really cool pic! Have you checked the entire plant for more of those leaves? There might be more, I dont know what it means but I just recently experienced the same thing with a plant I am growing right now from Humboldt Seed Co called Blueberry Cupcakes. I noticed some of the fan leaves had the extra leaf growing out of it during veg so I kept a very close eye on it. Fast forward to week 6 of flowering I saw pistils/bud sute growing out of the fan leaf. 1 week later a nanner started growing out of it so I plucked it prior to it releasing pollen.
Just keep an eye on those leaves. Also if anyone has any info on why plants do that please educate me. Thanks

I think Bob says it's from the kush in it's genetic makeup. Maybe he'll check in to confirm.

newbie here; two indoor auto runs are all i have under my belt. i popped these the other week. my chernobyl babies in their current home:

my plan is to run these inside a 4x4. i would love to have them outside at some point, but for now they have confirmed reservations inside. this will be my first photo run so i might be posting ridiculous questions for a bit.
my current question is: how many times can i up-pot these? and how big of a pot should i use for the final one? i've only been using 3 gallon fabric pots for the autos. i also have 5 gallon, 7 gallon, and 30 gallon pots, all fabric. with the autos i've gone from the 4" pot to the final 3 gallon pot directly. however from what i've seen and read here, i *could* possibly have intermediary pots along the way. how long is the recommended veg period? seems like ~6wks is what i've picked up. i have a few other plants that i'm growing with this cycle, so i'm just trying to get a general idea of what can go where and when.

Those could go straight into final 3 gallon pots from those once the get a few nodes.

I don't like to veg more than 4 weeks, but I'm always in a hurry! With a 6 week veg you might want to finish in a 5 gallon. It will fill your tent!

The beauty of photo plants is that there is no wrong answer to any of your questions. It all boils down to media, how much you want to feed/water, how long you want to run em, and how big you want them. They can do just fine in any of the sizes mentioned. Welcome to the journal. We look forward to the updates!! Oh yeah, prepare for some frosty girls!!!
