Love the Reviews mate!! Rep AZ!!
Thank's mate; you know it!

The god bud and Hawaiian snow should be good for a clear mind and sleep. I bet you would also like Chocolate chunk and something that has burmese in it. All seem to be anti anexiety and help with sleep and nausea.
Hope that helps.
I agree, those were some great napping strains. Perhaps concentrate of them would have given me longer rest. I have not been offered Chocolate Chunk yet I see lots of Chocolope which I have neglected to pick up due to its unappealing appearance. I will take some interest in Burmese, thanks. I heard the Kush is superb, perhaps some California will make it way over here.

Meet: OG Kush (IDH)
Chemdog and Lemon Thai x Old World Paki Kush

OGKushHash.jpg

High: 9 ~One hitter, straight to the head, lungs and body but not cloudy.
Taste: 7 ~Even in hash we were able to preserve the "fuel" and sour flower taste.
Cough: 7 ~Pretty hard hitting, will make you cough a little. A lot if you try to master it.
Nausea: 9 ~Most of the nausea was gone. I still had some pressure but felt really great.
Migraine: 5 ~lowered the head pressure a little. Still had shooting pain and might have gotten worse because of the cough.
Insomnia: 7 ~Slept a good 5 hours with little waking. Defiantly a napping strain as it will bring you down with it every time.
Emotional Stability: 7 ~The high brings all your "emotional peaks" to a "steady basin". Mellow, monotone, dude-ish and non-concerned are some of the descriptions that come to mind. Really great to unload your stress after a long day.

Notes:
Decided to post on the 2nd level product this time. The high is very strong and one hit is all you will need to feel better. Several hits will lower more serious pain and allow you to sleep better. It still taste very close to flowers and smelled like them too. Nausea and pain were hidden very well and was able to eat a gluten snack with no pain. :-o Coughing was an issue for me, made my head worse but the strength of each hit matched up well enough to continue. The overall calmness of your mind, spirit and body really is multi beneficial. It can take the stress off a hard day, help you sleep through a rough night. Relax your body to relieve pain. Ether hash or flower this strain has some of the best medicinal effects you could ask for; pick some up!

Meet: Little Red Ryder (IDH)
lowryder and old school skunk

IMG_2685.jpgIMG_2667.jpg

High: 8 ~Strong head and body high, great pain distraction.
Taste: 7 ~Tastes skunky and funky. Strong chem and dank taste but very smooth.
Cough: 0 ~Haven't coughed once. It's really light smoke and smooth.
Nausea: 8 ~Nausea is taken away after a few hits. Motivates a little hunger but not uncontrollable.
Migraine: 9 ~A 9/10 pain all day headache was brought to a much controllable level after two bowls.
Insomnia: 8 ~Slept about 7 hours with little waking. It made me quite tired as soon as I started medicating.
Emotional Stability: 8 ~Really mellow and relaxed feelings. Any worries you have before medicating are quickly hidden by a sleepy brain who wants not to worry.

Notes: This baby packs a hidden punch, it doesn't look like much to start; but it will turn you out quick. The Indica dominate is really evident in the high. Its a strong relaxing body high with a hell of a K/O to your thoughts. I fell asleep much earlier than usual and was lazy getting up in the morning. It really sticks around for a long time which I loved. I was still able to medicate with it in the day but not before work.

Meet: Critical Kush (I)
Critical Mass and O.G. Kush

CriticalKush.jpg

High: 7 ~Very complete high, relieves allot of various pains you weren't expecting to go away.
Taste: 7 ~Great fresh sweet taste. Pungent dank taste that is not overpowering and causing extra choke.
Cough: 5 ~Some coughing, can be minimized when smaller hits are taken. 0
Nausea: 7 ~Relieves pain and nausea within one bowl. Makes you hungry and increased acid shortly after.
Migraine: 7 ~Brought an all day lvl 7/10 headache down to 4/10. The "high" really puts most the pain in check while it's in effect.
Insomnia: 7 ~Got me back to sleep within 1.3 hours and stayed asleep until alarm. (3 hr)
Emotional Stability: 8 ~Really uplifting and relaxing. A-lot of motivation to do your old favorite things, great for company and a long day at work.

Notes:
Overall this is a very solid med from Barneys Farm Seeds. The best way I can describe it is a "cure all". Except this is not sugar water, sold in a trunk in an alley. It does an amazing job at bringing the mood up and the pain down. It tastes superb and is a really dense bud littered with trichomes. I turned some into oil for a 20% yield, also reported 25% THC however I saw no numbers. Definitely recommend this to anyone for anything, literally! I believe this is the only bud I have ever endorsed like that. Enjoy!

Great thread BluJayz! I really enjoyed reading your reviews.

Are you picking your meds up from the same grower, or is this from a collective where you're sampling the work of many different individuals?

Thank you, your feedback is appreciated!

Most of them come from 2 select "collectives" that rotate strains. (So generally the same type of growing with different strains.) The strange one's are gifts from visiting local farms.

Meet: Sour OG (SDH)
Sour Diesel and OG Kush

SourG.jpg

High: 6 ~Mellow head high, pains and stress is reduced more than you are head high.
Taste: 6 ~Diesel for sure, taste and smells of "ammonia" urks you a bit but is not too overpowering.
Cough: 2 ~You think you're going to choke but not really. Overall its pretty smooth.
Nausea: 7.9 ~Reduces nausea greatly even reduces acid given by other strains. (loved that)
Migraine: 8 ~Reduced pressure and restored equilibrium. Puts pain at bay for at-least 30 min after a hit.
Insomnia: 7 ~Slept about 5 hours with little waking last night. Not overly groggy and feel rested.
Emotional Stability: 5-9 ~Feeling really mellow and "whatever" not overly concerned about anything that was bothering me yesterday. Open to the idea of not working today and getting some sun instead. I rated it with a range because at times this effect is desired but might respond negatively in the wrong situation.

Notes:
A really beautiful med to look at and smoke. If you look closely it appears as a bunch of tiny popcorn nugs in long strips creating the bud. This allowed for easy breaking with hands and retaining more trichomes. Really mellow high great for the AM with coffee and great for laying out in the sun. Does a good job at addressing what ails you. Turned some into ISO for 11% return; even cleaner and better tasting.

Chocolate Chunk is an indica and not related to chocoloupe or any other chocolate strain i'm aware of. It is a great indica w/ some great pheno's. One of the best indica's i've gotten from a seed bank.

Also......where do you get all these strains.......no need names, but a dispensery, collective, co-op???? And how are they grow.....organic/chem? I see you give some info, on indoor and out.....but what about the rest of the info? Also if you know the seed breeder where these strains come from, or if clone only?

Thanks again for the very interesting reviews......you have some descriptions as maui flower, hawaiian berries.... Did you live in Hawai'i?

Aloha

Thank you for that, that I did not know! Still haven't seen any in my area. Although I don't frequent dispensary's or clubs so my scope may be limited.

90% of the strains come from 2 collectives I frequent, one has my original caregiver. The other 10% from local farmers, sometimes the market and others as gifts when visiting farms.

I would say 80% of them are not organic. Usually I will label it if it is Organic. I am not opposed to it, it is just what they are using. When I know of the seed father I try to label it, I try to remember to ask questions about them but sometimes good ones slip my mind. Most of them are seeds and the crops rotated for variance. One grower keeps 14 strains on rotation and takes clones contentiously. Like LA confidential I get allot.

I do not live in Hawaii, got the references from friendly gifts from overseas. Thanks for reading! bongsmilie

first time i ever saw someone rate big bud as great bud.
First time for me to try it, I still cant believe how sticky it was and the intensity.

Meet: Ken's GDP (IDH)
Grand Daddy Purp and Champagne

Ken's.jpg

High: 8~ Immediately you are heavily subdued but not couch-locked. Head pressure is quickly hidden and you are happy.
Taste: 8~ Fruity and danky like a bowl of fruit fermenting in it's juices.
Cough: 1?~ Have not coughed yet, Can be a little hot on the throat but it goes down very smooth.
Nausea: 5~ It took away my nausea but instantly produces mounds of acid which causes me other pain. It makes you hungry quick but its hard to for me to eat in general sometimes so that is counterproductive at this time.
Migraine: 8.7~ Really helps with the pressure and helps mask pain very well. The effects last a long time and are bringing a lvl 8 pain to 2 or 3 right now.
Insomnia: 9~ A very high rating in this area for me, I don't sleep much literally. It did not make me sleepy, but once I laid down; kept me asleep for 6 hours where I sleep on average 30 min at a time.
Emotional Stability: 9~ Very uplifting, chatty with your loved ones. Happy to watch chick flick with the lady, easily entertained by the internet. Not a confusing high can be at work or in public.

Notes:
Also known as "black leaf" or "black tar" pheno. (Many of the trimming leaves are black.) Ken's is an ah-maze-ing strain that was recently unleashed on me. It has strong remanence of GDP and the champagne complements it greatly taking the edge off and making it uplifting. I really enjoyed the openness it produced and the smell is an extra pleasure. Strong on your pains and easy on your body is a rare find, try it if you can. I can only wonder what some wax will be like.

(Reserva Privada)
Meet: Kosher Kush (IDH)

Unknown mostly Indica. Suggested: Holy Grail Kush and Chocolope and XX Indica.

View attachment 2844212

High: 8 ~ Comes on quick but not overwhelming. Your eyes get smaller with each hit. Very body relaxing.
Taste: 7 ~ Tastes like lemon and diesel; fresh flowers and a hint of earthy tones.
Cough: 0 ~ Haven't coughed yet, surprisingly considering it's one week old flowers.
Nausea: 7 ~ Pain is abated quickly, most acid is reduced and you get that coated pain relieving effect.
Migraine: 5 ~ It helps reduce the pain some but pressure remains and big hits make it pound more.
Insomnia: 7 ~ Slept rather well, I have a couple of logged REM's over the past week of using it.
Emotional Stability: 8 ~ Very relaxing, fun and long lasting. You can sink into the couch for good tv or go out and socialize. Either only needs a couple hits, a few more and you might be napping the rest of the day.

Notes:
A limited reserve grown indoors, soil and organic. Tasted and smelled great; even better after breaking it open. Really heavy on the sleepy effects and good and tough on the others. I really like this strain and will request a second reserve next season. My only regret is there isn't more for a rainy day.

Meet: Bubbalicious (IDH)
Bubba Kush and Bubblicious

Bubblicious.jpg

High: 6-8 ~ Oddly enough it's mostly a head high, you feel energized and relaxed but not unable to preform tasks; medium buzz.
Taste:8 ~Smells and taste like a box of bubble gum and fruit. You chase a faint diesel after-tone when breaking up the nugs.
Cough: 2 ~Really none, its pretty smooth even in large doses.
Nausea: 6 ~ Helps curb mild pain but not strong enough for deep pain.
Migraine: 6 ~ The cerebral high makes quick work of headaches and migraines. It does some good for pressure.
Insomnia: 2-4 ~ It is quite relaxing; I found myself lying down quite often but never sleepy, just caught in thought.
Emotional Stability: 8.9 ~ Relaxing, thought provoking; and uplifting are a few good ways to describe the feelings. You will feel like you are laying in a field of daisy's on a cool autumn day wherever you medicate.

Notes: This was a very uplifting med, it would be great for the daytime or spiritual events. The smell and taste is delectable and it works on a wide verity of mild pains while really keeping your head on straight. I would recommend this to anyone for stress related issues who still need to go about their day. I was told it is indoor and not organic; it was trimmed very close and was covered in trics.

Meet: Platinum Berry (I)
Platinum Kush and Blackberry

Platinum Berry.PNG

High: 8~ Like a veil of "cloudiness" is laid over your head and you are almost instantly (mild-ly) sedated.
Taste: 7.7~ Like heavy berries and light kush. Sticky, sweet taste with thick flavorful smoke.
Cough: 0~ Very, very smooth even in joints.
Nausea: 6~ Helps relieve nausea but not so good on stomach pain.
Migraine: 7.2~ Very good on pain but the "veil" doesn't allow for head pressure to lower more than 15%.
Insomnia: 8~ Napped for 5 hours or so. Had little waking or interruption.
Emotional Stability: 8~ Quite sedated, non-confrontational, hungry: and silly would be some good words to describe the high. It is quite heavy so not ideal for use before going out.

Notes: This was a treat to say the least. The smell and colors were euphoric; and paired up with the high perfectly. The flowers were dense and sticky; this was grown indoors in synthetic/organic soil. This was a nice little surprise alongside my usual pickup.

Meet: The Church (IDH)
Green house seeds: Swiss Sativa and Super Skunk and Northern Lights

Church.jpg

High: 9~ A strong hit to the whole body at first then it slowly fades and remains as a head high. Very cool.
Taste:6.9~ Thick smoke that has an earthy undertone to a dank/skunk-y flavor.
Cough: 3~ Light expectorant, nothing that makes your head pound.
Nausea: 8.9~ Does good on nausea and pain, 75% relief in two bowls. Makes you hungry later.
Migraine:.8.5~ The head pressure and pain is quickly taken down with each heartbeat. The residual high gives for long lasting relief.
Insomnia: 6~ I will say pretty couch locked after a few sessions and a snugly couch. Never did fall asleep though, but was pretty hungry the whole time.
Emotional Stability: 9~ Great fun, really relaxed and silly at first. Great conversation and ideas came flowing fast just be cautious of over medicating and getting comfortable on the couch.

Notes:
The high really gives the whole body a release and helps you relax each part of it. I use if after work for meditation with great success. I really enjoyed the range of effects this strain had. It was grown indoors in non-organic hydro and is my caregivers personal stash. (Glad I got a few!)

Just read entire thread and got to say Great job! I really like the style of review, strait to the point and pictures of each bud. Others should use this as a example, shit i might even start a thread like this.
