So today’s day 20. Plants are looking great. I’ll post a pic or two later tonight. Just figured I had some time I could give a quick recap.
Started on Sept 15. 10 seeds into spring water for 36 hours. 10/10 cracked. Then into paper towels for 24 more hours.
Sept 18 all 10 were in soil. Tap roots range from 1/16th inch to 1-1/2 inch.
Sept 21 8 of 10 were sprouted. Five after 24 hours. After a week of no signs the last 2 were discarded. No tap roots in the cups.
Water only (mostly with spray bottle) 3 times a day foliar and small amounts into the soil.
9/29 first full water I believe.
10/3 first feeding. 1 ml of base nutes each 2 ml calmag and seaweed. 185ppm 6.4ph
10/7 first full feed blue planet nutes Mammoth p silicate and calmag. Same feed they’ll get till flower. 515ppm ph 6.4.
And today is a feed day. Same as last feed plus a dab of molasses.
They get the cmh315 4K spec light back tomorrow. Prolly run it at 245w.
But all in all looking great. No issues so far.
The difference in the plants is huge. The biggest is probably 5” tall. And the shortest is only like 2-1/2”. But every one of em has 5 nodes and has been topped. Within 3 days from first to last too. Leaf structure is exact on every one. It’s actually hard to tell them apart from an aerial view. But only from that view.
They’re all gonna get transplanted into 6x6 square tall pots this week.
So that’s all I have. Not much happening this early. Just doing their thing.
Stay faded and happy growing y’all. :)

Figured I’d share this with y’all. Got some yellowing on the lowers. It’s actually pretty intense but it’s nothing to worry about from my experience. Every one of them has this same yellowing. I’m sure it’s got something to do with the swap from 33w of white led to 260 watts of blurple. That added to the fact that we just started nutes, and a 18/6 light schedule has gotten these girls into high speed mode. I did give 1 full nutes yesterday and the rest straight ro water just to see what they’ll do. They dry out every other day so it’s not like anything bad will happen that fast anyways. Full feed across the board tomorrow. Idk how well you can see it but look at the stalk! These things are 4-7” tall and they all have a main stalk as big as a pencil! Biggest stalks I’ve seen on plants this size.

Transplant day. We’re at day 22. I ended up foliar feeding some calmag yesterday. Today they got transplanted from the solos to 6x6 tall pots. I’m hoping they’ll sex in these pots. Then the females will go into #3 pots. Or whatever hasn’t sexed will go into #3 pots in 3 weeks. But other than the minimal mag issue looking good. And man those roots! Looking good for 3 weeks I think.

Looking like a second male is showing this morning. Gonna give it another couple days to be sure but 99% sure it’s a male.

I put my seeds on paper towels on September 15th as well. Romberry (top 2) has been trying to stretch from the beginning and the Blueberry Gorilla Bubble from Tony green has been fairly thick from the start. Looking forward to following this grow. 20171015_215730.jpg

Nice looking plants THC. I’ve never seen the leaves pulled aside like that. But I like it. I had a chocolate cream plant that really could have benefitted from that. The early leaves completely blocked out everything else. That would’ve been perfect. May have to steal that for the next one. :)

it's no crazy invention or anything. I think its more my fucked up attempt at LST to prep for scrog. hahaha.

Still a little tough to see via pic but 99.9% sure he’s a male. Good and bad I guess. The males seem to be showing early so maybe the rest are female. I’d take 6 of 10 female. Hell yeah I would. But that’s 3 males all showing before week 4. Just want to get em into flower. I think they’re just about ready.
Anyone think there’d be any issue flowering em in the 6x6 tall pots? If I can get em in there soon at least. I think they’d be ok myself. But I’m new to flowering small plants for pheno hunts so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Week 4 update
So all is going really well. We started with 11 seeds. 9 germ. 3 males so far. And 6 unknown left. They’re going into flower this week. I have 6 #2 pots for the 6 unknowns. They’ll transplant tomorrow. 2-3 days to mend and into flower.

But man this plant is damn near perfect looking I just can’t bring myself to cut him. Lol5BEAE782-01D8-4048-A7AF-7304EB81837B.jpeg 6AC48DCE-84E6-4858-8425-C5CBFA25A0EA.jpeg

I transplanted them from the 6” square pots to 1 gal #2 pots and labeled them as phenos 1-6 today. Fed them with their week 1 flower nutes at 850ppm, and 6.4ph as usual. They are all just about the same size. Maybe an inch or two separate between them all. After taking clones of each of the 6 I have between 4-6 tops on each plant. That should give me a solid showing of what they’ll do in flower.
And speaking of flower, they will be hitting the flower room on Friday. 2 days to recover from the transplant and the cuttings. And that’s it. On to flower!
Sorry for the less than awesome pics in this post. It’s been a very long few days for me and I just am not feeling the need or desire to set up all the cfls and such for better pics today. Next time maybe.

So here we are 4 weeks 5 days, and we are into flower!! This is day 0. 24 hours of light before the first 12 dark.
There’s 2 females showing as of now, but I have a good feeling. Temps in flower run 62-76 night/day right now. (Ac issues to some extent) Rh is 45-65 which is part of the ac issues and the cold that I’m having.
So plants are about 16-18” tall and they all have from 3-6 tops. They were all topped 1 time. And they’re in 1 gal pots.
I think they’re about a 55 day flower from what I see from nv. So that’s the timeline for the start. We will see though.
But stay tuned! It’s gonna get frosty real soon!!

Clones of all 6 too!! 2-3 of each. They are in my oxy cloner. For nutes I have 55ml of clonex, 6ml of Hormex b vitamins, and 15ml of UC roots. Ph is 5.7. Ppm was just under 600. Temps are high at 77 but I cool it to 72ish 2-3 times a day. That’s the best I can do for now. Any ideas on how to keep it cool would really be appreciated. I’d like it to stay at that 70° area if possible. It’s already on a cool cement floor.

Looks Awesome,I can’t wait until I get some more bird seed! Your set/up looks clean can’t wait to see them grow. Just wondering what size pots do you flower in? I bet you love those cmh lights. And for the price I’ve herd really good things about the mars lights. Love that flower pick.Good Luck.

Normally I run #7 pots for flower. But at the moment I have 6 in 1 gal pots for a pheno hunt, 2 in #5 pots, and 2 in #10 pots. But I prefer the #7 pots. I believe they’re 5gal pots.
And yeah the cmh lights are the way to go for the price for me. 1200 for lighting for both veg and flower. And the results speak for themselves I think. I hope to eventually swap over to high end leds but that’s 4000 dollars I just don’t have. Lol.

Awesome I would love to have me some cmh lights. Yes the really good leds are a lot of money. But like everything else in time they will go down.If I had that set up I would try with cheap leds for the mixed spectrum. If you don’t like it you can always sell them or use for veg or back up if light craps out.Man I want to dive right in to smell that flowered plant of yours it looks so good. You got skills

Beyond dreams is coming along. Just starting to stretch. They get fed tonight. I’ll post a couple pics later. But they look about the same as the last pics. Hopefully we have some shots like this in a couple weeks time!
