If I want all people to be able to run their own lives and you want to appoint power hungry leaders like Bernie over them with or without their consent, how does that make me self centered?

Clearly you don't think infrastructure, defense or a robust economy are worth paying for, so by all means- go live somewhere without them.

Do people have a right to defend themselves from other people (like Bernie) who try to forcibly take their property ?

When you say robust economy, what do you mean ?

Ungrateful? Hell no. I'm very grateful and have a lot to be thankful for. For instance I'm really grateful my arms aren't skinny like the sticks Bernie was sporting in those shirtless pics that recently surfaced. Dude looks like he has low testosterone or something. I don't think he's gonna live much longer, poor old senile imbecile.

there's literally 8 different universal health care plans out there right now and HR1, the very first thing the new house did, was to get money out of politics

Your premise is that without a central authority around to forcibly take your property there will be nobody around to prevent someone from forcibly taking your property ?
