Republicans have been taken over by Neo-Nazis. The Republican conservative movement died mid-way during the Shrub administration. Now, all that remains are Nazis.
This just speaks volumes towards your intelligence level. Still wondering why Trump was elected see above.....

I guess Russian Orthodox is a better description than Nazis. I find it hilarious that right wing smot pokers teamed up with evangelicals "gods candidate" kinda people to elect a Russian spy. Talk about intelligence. Then toss in the flat earthers and the incels as well as the KKK. Lordy lordy.

Having looked closely at UBI, I have come to the conclusion that progressive taxes, stronger minimum wage laws and universal healthcare is a better option.
It isnt a better option when Amazon or a different mega corporation buys half the city you live in and then replaces every worker with an automated robot who can achieve 10x the productivity you ever could and requires 1/100 the costs of maintainance. The squeeze is goo g to be too great. Taxis and truckers will be unemployed by the millions when automation becomes cheap enough.

Ill vote for bernie and canvas for him again if he enters the primaries. I'm a bernie supporter because of his policies and proposals. His stance on foreign intervention and his fiscal arguments are somewhat along the lines of a social democrat, which I myself am. I also like Andrew Yang as a potential libertarian-Left leaning candidate. I like his ideas on universal basoc income being necessary in the future due to automation and potential employment crisis on the horizon. Its refreshing to see so many candidates that would be worth voting for.

So-so

tulsi is a homophobe.

biden hasn't announced nor will he.

clinton is not running; desires to be queen only if she doesn't have to work for it.

the whole tulsi situation in my opinion(and according to her own admission) is likely just brainwashing from her super social-conservative father. She was raised by a Hindu nationalist who had very homophobic beliefs. She's made a statement saying she doesn't share the same beliefs as her 19 year old self, considering her distancing from clinton and stepping down from her position in the DNC during primaries; I'd guess her values are somewhat sturdy enough to speak for herself.

if it were down to her or Kamala Harris, id have to choose Tulsi. The reverberations I'm picking up seem to point to kamala being the party favorite. She came out in support of Single payer/Universal healthcare and then after 24 hrs she back-peddled and now wants to preserve Obama care. Its just a repeat of 2016 with the DNC, we need someone who is willing to tell them to Fuck off.

It doesn't matter about wages. Automation is already here. A manager every year has to justify his job by creating more whatever for more profits. The next wave in manufacturing is additive processes. Foundries going slowly by the wayside. When I retired a couple years ago we had approximately 10% of the people making aircraft engines compared to 40 years previous. But we were producing 3 times the product. I saw one machine replace 3 shifts of 75 people total with 3. Closed loop maching. Wages in manufacturing have increased a bit but not what a union shop was paying 10 years ago. I'm glad I'm done. The last control I worked on was a fanuc 31i. My how things have changed in over 50 years.

I think his odds doubled. My issue is not wanting to sound like an asshole or a trump cultist. I'm not some manga hat wearing Bootlicker, and I wouldnt want to project that kind of behaviour for others to see. id rather have my eyes on the prize, no matter which vehicle gets us there. Bernie is my top pick, but warren and other candidates (I really think Keith Ellison can do the same) can carry that mantle if they prove they are willing to do so.

this is a time for experienced, tried and true, solid leadership. the best example of that would, be how Nancy handled The Dotard..we need a no-nonsense, scandal-free, serious president with progressive ideas that the country favors.

now is the time for all good men..

Just think of all the Post Offices renamed and all the lovely half-baked laws (i am being generous here) enacted, not to mention the hordes of "very best" people appointed. Reach for the stars.

Did you really just praise Pelosi? What about all those Republican votes for her as Speaker? She must owe them a lot.

Sounds like a damn good reason for better schools and more educational funding to me.

Why would a UBI work better than taxing corporate profits for basic public services?
