I know, I know, I’m hijacking the beer thread.
But it’s cider time baby.
Fermented two weeks, fined with gelatin and kegged under 5 psi just to seal.
At 5 weeks raised psi to 30 for 16 hours and dropped to 12 psi.
Like my son said: “damn that tastes like apples”.
Finished at 6.9% ABV. But doesn’t taste too dry. Has that sweet apple flavor. Dropped clear.
The juice is everything.
90% Honeycrisp.

You are tempting me to bust out my equipment and brew one up and getting back into it.
All my old equipment survived the fire because was in storage. Minus the carboys though because i lent them to my buddy from this website and the fucker moved to another state. Without returning my carboys. Wtf right! Oh well. But anyways, i even got 2 cornelious kegs in with the equipment. Just need a couple carboys and ingredients :-)

I'm not really a fan of it, too hoppy for me.
See that’s what I say about most of the lagunitas beers lol.
Sometimes i like that though. But you know me. On a diet. Drinkin them diet beers coors lights :-(
I drank so many different good beers around turkey day i’m pretty sure i gained at least 5lbs.

my goto batch of beer to brew was a SN pale ale clone and my second was a hoppy face clone
