Medicating with weed is a bit of a journey.
Been a lot of fun seeing how my adhd responses to different sativas. Hazes and skunk strains seem to work the best for me, clear headed, focused, relaxed. OG and poison strains tend to be a bit too stimulating, my mind gets all racey and paranoid I start thinking in circles and can get overwhelmed, it's fun but not productive.

Hi Vance!

Check out the strain C99, or Cinderella 99. It helps me with the issues you describe. My wife has fibro and it is one of the best for her.

Fast flowering strain that has excellent medicinal properties yet won't make you unproductive, in fact quite the opposite. In my experience besides pure Haze, C99 is the best plant for ADHD.

Welcome to Rollitup and hope to see you around!

welcome! just started here in october, also in ohio, also gen x (46). have you gotten a medical card yet? it would be worth your time to go to a dispensary and at least dabble in a few different strains. if there's a nectar dispensary near you, i've found (at least where i live in SE ohio) that their employees are very knowledgeable and patient. they also are the only place that supplies a handout with pesticide use as it relates to the different brands. it's quite surprising and eye-opening to see just what is sprayed on something that you ignite, combust, and then inhale...that is "approved" and sanctioned by the state government. getting that sheet is pretty much the impetus for me starting to grow my own.

I'm from Ohio also. Just joined this month.

I'm wanting to breed and make new strains. But will grow regular also. Maybe it will numb my arthritis.

I'm a baby boomer and retired recently.

i get that. i'm only renewing this year (2024) so that i can bop around town with some in my car/purse and not worry about it. it looks like although home growing will be legal, the dispensaries won't be up and running to sell rec for a few more months at the least.
will you being doing any outdoor growing next year?

I hope so. Just one superbowl win before I die isn't asking for much. Thanks for the welcome. Let's overgrow Cleveland!
Hell I'd be ok with just a superbowl appearence at this point! Over 50 years watching this team suck up the room, its just not fair lol! Me and wifey met Bernie Kosar at the market garden brewery in ohio city, super nice guy!
