Sucks about the 3x+ stretching, My phenos are not stretching that big, but they are a tad big. i believe my stretch has come down to almost a complete halt going into the 21st day of flower it seems... idk I'm thinking I went into 12/12 at around 12-13inches tall, just alot of staking, small fim and lsting.

Here are some pics, not really liking Td1 so much, so lanky and more stretchy than TD2... 49-56days to go...

Its not really 'tough' to grow.. but it isn't verry forgiving....... its sensitive to nutes, needs a little bit more N than normal, especially right at the beginning of flower... And it's really slow to start each stage, but hauls ass eventually to make up...
Well that's what they have been saying. Yours are looking mighty healthy and I have seden some grows already with no bad feedback at all so it just depens on the grower. The only plants I ever burned were sativas and ever since than I have not added any veg nutes other than what's in FFOF. It just makes sense that sativas with their long flowering and massive height would benefit from more nitrogen in flower and I do the same thing. + rep on the grow, it's worth the extra effort.

Man these posts are killing my buzz.. I was so stoked to order these seeds, I have some on the way right now. I haven't started from seed since I first started growing 10-11 years ago, so I've been excited to germinate some seeds again. Now all I'm reading is how hard they are to germinate and if they do you're lucky if it grows right.... Plus I cannot accommodate very tall growing plants, I ordered these because they said medium height. But it sounds like they end up pretty tall. I've been wishing I could do super lemon haze but I won't order those based on their height. I guess I can prepare myself for disappointment and maybe I'll get lucky. I'll try some LST to keep the height down. I'll post on how mine seeds do, maybe do a journal..

youll be cool toolegit, just make sure you flip them to flower QUICK... like 5 inches @ day 1 flower will leave you at 20 inches by day 15...... I'd accommodate for 3x-4x stretch!

Yeah it'll be interesting with timing it with my other strains. I guess I'd take the TD starts a week or two after my other ones, so they would all be ready to switch to 12/12 at about the same time.. Easy enough. I just hope they make it here and germinate :)

Good plan man, seriously... Don't worry about it being too small.. or having too few branches, it straight BLOWS up for the first 20 days on 12/12... crazy side branching, branching OF side branching... and really far node spacing towards the bottom..

This is a pic of when I would/should have flowered my TD's.. day 27... I flowered at 35 @ 10in.. they got to nearly 2.7 feet by day 15 FLOWER..

Interesting looking leaves. Did you top it early to split it into two main stems or bend it over?

It'll be fun trying to do a few different strains. I was growing sour diesel, loved it, loved the way it grew, everything about it. But I quit growing for a bit and gave a few plants to my homie to keep it going... He doesn't have it anymore. I'm trying to get it again, a friend of a friend deal.. Might take a while to make that happen. He did give me a couple blue cheese to get me started. So hopefully I'll have blue cheese, sour diesel, and tangerine dream going here in the next couple months. I'm not going to get too excited about the TD until I see them germinate. I hope you guys post lots of pics :). I'll post some once a week if I can get them to grow.

Can anyone share some more info on the different phenos?

I was gonna pick up some td clones and was told I can choose from an indica dominant and sativa dominant? Which is the more flavorful pheno?

Don't bother! I would stay clear of this strain until they get it right. 2/5 germed for me, then the plants were totally retarded and never budded properly (currently on week 13 and still waiting). I e-mailed to complain but no reply at all. This strain is not ready for commercial sale yet..

what i have to say about the tangerine dream is that the taste is fantastic but the high is nothing to write home about. i was able to try their strains in ams about two months ago and that was exactly how i felt in the hotel room. "this tastes good but i barely feel anything." its not even a creeper high. on the total opposite end, amnesia haze was fantastic. i forgot what i was saying mid sentence multiple times. it was very very strong. i would suggest ordering that strain. i think barneys farm does it and also soma seeds, which i love.

i think the toughness of growing it is knowing how to grow. I think you may have read some postings that talked about the seeds not germ'ing etc., those were some newbies learning from what i remember. It was probably their inexperience. they soaked the seeds for a while (which with fresh seeds there's no need to do) which drowned them and of course they didn't spout.

I smoked TD in AMS last july and loved it, one of the best smoked that trip. Also grew some and it was fine to grow, nothing any different from any other Sativa plant. patience and knowledge=success!

IThere's quite a few people growing it on another forum and they are saying it's a tough plant to grow. Also, I have heard some bad reports on germinating the seeds. I think they are just not used to growing sativas and they will be huge soon. I smoked some TD with my bro from his dispensary and it was amazing! We smoked a lot of weed that day, but that was by far my favorite.

have you ever grown a Sativa plant before? in case you haven't sativa's take longer than indica's. we've had them go for 15 weeks and sometimes less but 12-15 is pretty normal for a true sativa. Our TD took close to 13 weeks and western winds was over 15 weeks. the wait is worth it.
