Awesome ph + moisture + light meter

I will admit, I was a bit skeptical about this meter when I picked it up from Lowes. But, after running several tests using all three settings (primarily ph and moisture), I was very satisfied. I wanted to make sure the ph was correctly read using this meter, so I went ahead and tested some filtered water which read 6.5 ph with my chemical ph test kit, and sure enough the meter read the same. I also tested a soil/water mix, and still it read accurately. I recommend this meter for people who are looking to buy one.

EDIT: It only cost roughly $10

Figured I would share, since I know there are peeps out there having issues getting accurate ph readings with their meters. This meter also did not need to be calibrated.

I have posted in 3 threads today that this meter is NOT good

the moisture part will fool you if you don't go all the way down and in several places

the ph meter will float between 7 & 8 no matter what you do, and reads different after watering or when dry

the light meter only goes to 3000 lumens (the minimum for MJ)

yeah I have one, I've used it, now it sets in a drawer collecting dust

I have this meter but also the pH up & down chemi kit. The meter works perfectly fine if you keep the probes clean and dont smack it around too much. (Its plastic and cheap). BUT It does read SOIL ONLY pH levels acuratly. I tested with both meter and liquid kit and both read the same pH.

Good buy, get one that isnt really old or beat up. The moisture meter I dont use, I use my finger for that. And the light meter is useless really.
