I just passed this place on the bus- it used to be the Fridge, a famous club with alot of history, but it got run down and too many people got shot in there 0_o;

So it's all suddenly refurbished and it looks like this!

I know it's mostly hangings but after I went to Berlin for an art trip, I saw some really crazy, cool-looking buildings. I know there are some nuts designs out there we all wonder how the hell they got planning permission for them. So post :3

I was wearing my 1985 boombox t-shirt the first time I saw the new look so I got all excited lol.

I've always been intrigued by the Steel House (Ransom Canyon TX). Looks like a Trek set designer with a welding fetish decided to build something. Utterly impractical, but I have to respect the sheer force of this guy's vision.

Check this out ... looks like Lancelot and RoboCop were snoozing on the beach next to something a tractor would pull, and the tide came in ... cn

Thanks Hephaestus, and Thankyou for contributing <3 I'm going all geeky on these shiny shiny buildings guys ^^ If I get wifi upstairs tonight I'll post some of my Berlin photos. Until then, happy googling everyone, I'm getting so excited over this shit X3

@Cannabineer:

I do some welding. That house is a legend among the welding and metal working community.

It is also a cautionary tale about what can happen to a man when he buys a welder but doesn't have a wife!

is that all... 25k a night, lets see...after taxes, carry the one...minus food, plus tips... I should be able to go for a one hour stay when I am 114!
