I cant wait to see who the heavy hitters and top contenders will be, I've been thinking about switching over to autoflowers for a while now simpily for the simplicity and I'm anxious to learn more.

Another myth people have is that Autoflowers are easier to grow than non-Autos.

This is false.

Autoflowers are much more difficult because they are more nutrient sensitive (on average) and are not as responsive to stress training techniques as non-Auto strains.

As my plants are that fucked, is it worth trying to make hash from the leave when i chop on sunday?
Hash...maybe not, but edibles definitely.
If I had my heart set on making hash I would make hash, no matter what anyone said tho.
Is it just the one plant or do you have more?

Isn't this the definition of easy when it comes to growing. Less feeding+ Less pruning=Less work and add Less Work+No light schedule and that is easy in my mind. heh

But anyways, yeah, I kinda disagree. Kinda because it isn't bread and butter like some chalk it up to be but it is easier than growing a normal strain especially a sativa. It may be my opinion though because I usually just throw my autos in super soil and only give em water if I have some left over while watering another plant. I grew a Roadrunner that way and I only had to water it like 5 times I think it was and no nutes at all.

I like that they're marketing "super" autos now that take 90-120 to finish from seed....defeats the whole purpose
of growing autos! I mean, if your gonna spend the money on genetics then why not spend the extra $20 on a light
timer??? The only time I worry about the lights is once when I change the timer to 12/12.

You are right hempstread.

Technically non-autos are easier because you have to switch the lights from 18/6 to 12/12. That is the only difference if you are going to grow a non-auto and an auto in the exact same environment side by side.

However, if you are going to do any sort of fertilizing and stress training, autos are much more difficult than non-auto strains. I also meant that it is easier to do what you want with non-autos. You are not on a time frame and are allowed many more mistakes with non-autos.

I have grown sativas 12/12 from seed and they finish in about the same time as the super autos. heh Here is a Super Lemon Haze 12/12 from seed and took about 120 days if I remember correctly.

LST is advanced growing and really not for newbs but I have bent a few autos to fit in a smaller spot I had when I started. They LST fine if you are gentle and depending on the plant it may hurt the yield or help it but from what I have seen it still helps autos.
Here is an easyrider I bent to fit low and I think it helped the yield with the extra growth on the side branches,

Also, from my experience every strain is more or less tolerable to nutrients and I never have different strains on the same feeding schedule even if I started them at the same time. I wish it was that easy but I always find myself adjusting something different for each plant.
I am still learning though.

How much dry weight did you pull off that Easyryder?

Looks delicious.

As far as adjusting nutrients, I change per plant as well. I just have noticed with my experience that autos seem to burn much easier than my non-autos.

I'm anxious to see all these harvests.

Trying to germ 2 "60 Day Wonders" atm. 24 hrs in and nothing's popped yet. Indoor closet under a bunch of t-8's and t-5s...too stoned to look up the numbers.

Lowryder 2. It's pretty much a 10inch lump of bud, started flowering on the 2nd set of nodes so it's tinyyyy. Smells like coffee as well.
Just use that as your entry if you want to.

Hate to lose you because of a bunk seed. ;)

Lol, no chance, that thing is a joke. That "easyryder" is gonna pull like 5+ with a couple more weeks veg I reckon, going to be a monster. I'll still be sticking around though, looking forward to see what you other guys can do.
