So tbh when everyone’s ranting and raving about lights I just skim through and don’t pay much attention as I’m more than happy with my trusty old hps bulbs. But Mars have just got me up on Insta. What’s the go with them are they shit? They want to give me a free set up tho so I’m thinking fuck why not...?

well they’re that good they want to give everyone a light to spruik their products on insta, forums etc.

Like they’re good enough I wouldn’t say no to a free one but I’m not dropping money I’ve worked for on one.

Finally got the alu 2020 t-slot and bits to put my 600w qb veg light together.
The standard kit from kingbrite has the heatsinks side by side but I wanted them spread out a bit.

My first LED light, fucken things are bright.
Should make a decent veg light for 4x4 tray.

I'm considering remote mounting the ballast though.
Anybody do that?
What's the deal with grounding?

technically you don’t need to ground the fixture as it’s dc not ac. If you want to be safe just run a length of multi core with ring connector on each end between the fixture and the driver body.

Yeah that’s fair enough. If I’m not paying then nothing to lose really, (apart from yield if they don’t perform I suppose).
And considering when this run is finished I lose my current grow room, maybe this will be an option to still be able to grow in new place cos there’s no way I’d do a hps setup..

I use that along with 2 other products so I'm alternating on the pests

I know cant wait, left plants starting stack buds. Looks to be atleast 4 oz on left 1 if everythings goes good. Right 1 maybe 2 oz gotta get a light over right one soonish, if i get another sf600 i should pull some monsters.
