Nice write-up mate! Got a few questions for you (which I've numbered above).

1. Clonex solution - Dilution rate? Are you spraying the entire plant with this?

2. I "think" I've got this. You're potentially getting two nodes into a block (ie. more rooting potential) & scraping the stem in-between them?

3. Opening by 1/4-1/2 of what? A linear measurement, or the entire aperture?

4. Are you keeping an eye on the moisture of the block, or the cuts themselves? You're spraying the bottoms of the blocks & not the cuts?

I'm against using rockwool (personal preference). I assume this would all be similarly relevant to jiffy pellets &/or straight into solo cups with coco?
No worries mate. Had to be quick as we went to Brisbane to see cirque du soleil.

1. Clonex solution (not gel) 5ml per litre as a foliar spray. Yes the whole plant. It’s not getting nutes for that 48 hours. Can use the Rizotonic as a substitute for the clonex solution rather than purchasing both, I just have both on hand.

2. If I can get a cut where there’s a short distance 5-7mm between the nodes then I’ll make my final cut at 45 degree through the lower node, and the top node will Just sit below the surface of the rockwool block hole (sort of like making a seal of the hole). Yes, if this is a woody stem then I’ll lightly scrape the stem between the nodes. Only scrape the stem that sits below the rockwool surface and gets dipped in the clonex gel. I only scrape the woody (older) stems, not newer softer stems.

3. 1/4-1/2 at a time of the entire aperture.

4. The cuts themselves get sprayed twice a day until they’re acclimatised to the environment with the humidity dome cover off, then they might get a once a day if they need it. I.e you’re acclimatising them from basically 90ish% humidity with no roots down to 65-70% as they develop roots. When they don’t have roots they’ll feed off the leaves both stored and the moisture you give them. The blocks get kept moist, not wet, from the bottom. When they get lightish and start to dry a bit spray the bottoms with the Rizotonic solution (4ml per litre of h20 ph 5.8-6) until moist again, the solution wicks up. Think of it like teasing the roots out searching for the moisture. Hope that make sense.

I’ve found it a bit harder to control the moisture levels with jiffy pellets, they don’t seem to wick as well up from the bottom, but if you can then yes it’s similar. You can’t spray the bottom of cups so I’ve not used them.

Ps, “ish” is my tech term for...it’s more a feel and / or close to. Hahaha.

Emergency ward is a crazy place to spend the night im glad the young bloke has slept threw it all. Anyway i thought id jump on here for abit. Another great right up there. The cuttings iv been messin round with i normally try stikin to 2 nodes to be in the jiffy pellet. Climatizing a clone just leave the small vents open on the humidity dome for x amount of time then close up?. How long should this be done before throwin them out into full light

Guessing the youngan is up for the plate, pin, screw yeah? Trust he’s in good hands.

I’ve found it doesn’t matter much between one or two nodes, so long as the media is snug against the material. The main thing with the rockwool blocks with holes is not to just have the stem sitting loose in the hole, but to have the end pushed gently a little bit into the rockwolol, careful not to push it too close or out the bottom. Acclimatising the clones is a look and judgement thing, if they wilt, leaves droop or curl then spray and close vents a bit or dome back on. I.e raise the humidity for them.

Once their acclimatised (have gone 2-3 days with dome lid off and not needed spraying) and got good roots out of the block you can plant them out, and start feeding. Sort of treat them like seedlings to start with by not having the light too close.

So tbh when everyone’s ranting and raving about lights I just skim through and don’t pay much attention as I’m more than happy with my trusty old hps bulbs. But Mars have just got me up on Insta. What’s the go with them are they shit? They want to give me a free set up tho so I’m thinking fuck why not...?
Go for it (they hit me up on here, but i dont want to deal with the pricks) please just dont spruik them on here, we get enough of that already. Be a good veg light.

On my old instagram account before they shut it down they were pests asking me every fortnight. I always responded once you care about your product as much as profits we can talk. I’m no salesmen
Funny when I opened a new account they left me alone but I’m over insta. Just shit growers with blurples and there still entering comps to win them. People get angry when your like don’t tag me in shit competition for shit lights and I would give the light company’s a hard time maybe why I got booted lol

Spear central coming on the I.B
It’s a decent pheno. All reports back say best shit they have had in years. Weather that’s just smoke up my ass is another story. But I love smoking the shit it’s a good high and you can still operate on it. It will go crazy outdoors I’m super keen to run it next year.
Hopefully @Rewerb can get viable seeds it’s the same cut as this grow. The other IB’s I had were good but out of the 10 this one had the most weight by 20% and it’s buds had the most bag appeal.
I’ll be keeping this cut for a while.

Yeah very slow growing compact plant.
Ill wait till she full dont recon it gonna stretch much.
Yeah I’m running one strain per scrog net next grow it’s to hard to keep a level canopy. My sour diesel doesn’t stretch and the gelato is going nuts
