Wow, your plants look great! Is it just me, or did the HPS side seem a little taller? Not a lot, but in the vid it looked a little taller to me....

Awesome, with all those Videos and comments on how it went down.

I was wondering:
recently I found this Review:
http://cpl.usu.edu/files/publications/factsheet/pub__4338884.pdf
by Utah state University.
They compare all kinds of growlights to gavita 1000W and things.

From that document it seems like Apache tech is the most expensive while delivering the 2nd worst umol/J...getting beaten by blackdog (isnt that chinese cheapo?)
They test apache AT120, but I think at one point you said AT600 is much better?

Looking at what you show here, maybe there are some big flaws in that doc...hehe

Ohhh YAAA.
Great show can't wait to hear the final tally.
Thanks man. Me too.
I thought they would look really different in the end..looks like the same light was used on both
Awesome grow!
Thanks.
Me too. But they are super even in appearance and size. Led has a darker tint to it. That is about it. LED #5 was the smelliest...I wasn't really checking but that one stood out enough to check what plant I was trimming.

Ya a little. The video mad it seem worse. When I was editing I was questioning what I said in the video...but in person they seemed closer to even.

We already went over this article a while ago. The second professor who is the head of the department(bugbee) was given that at120 in 2011. That light was used int he test done in 2013...with other lights form 2013-2014. In LED time that is ancient.

The at120 is from 2010
The at200 and at600 were released this year 2014(possibly end of last year 2013).
The at200 has a 90% delivered output increase over the at120
The at600 is made of 4 at200's...which are 90%(my findings showed 87%) better than the at120's.

As far as the rest of the study...it's pretty good and nice to see universities trying. But the information about the apache is outdated and just ridiculous to use considering the standards and time of realize of their other lights. Also notice that the AT(169w) is the only one under 275w.
The AT120 is no longer in production. There is a few left in certain spectrums...but from now on it's just at200's and at600's.
So you make the call...no longer made at120 vs gavita's and newly released led's.
All they had to do is say what hey are doing and AT would have gave them a light in a heart beat.

One it's not even may 16th yet...so what were you looking at???
Pet I show you respect because you have been around for a long time. You have witnessed a lot of knowledge. But what you have done is nothing to be bragging to the world about...not yet. You are good at growing pistils...lets see some buds.
You have about what...10days of use with these lights so far???

You joking me if you are calling me out for lying about anything...I am one of the most upfront and honest people on this site. Good or bad I show it...Tell it like it is...I just happen to grow pretty well to begin with IMO.
Here is some evidence...it took me about 5 min to find these since april 26th(last 16days)...

OK, I meant April

A little pissed as you might imagine

I agree lets' get all this BS out of the threads

Most of it is me defending myself

I am going to edit this shit out to just source the original quote soon...not letting all this bml spam stay on here long.
EDIT:

i love watching your grows greengenes, just a random thought i had though as i am so very close (funds) to getting one of these at600's, on the spec sheet from growers house, it says the Color temperature 2773K, would there be much of a difference if we had a panel at the 2200K region? sorry if this is a silly question lol

I was slow clapping through out the video update. My hat's off to you good sir!
Thanks brother. Your praise is always a special one. To me it is already a success. I'm like a little kid...just giggly.
looking very good..
for 300 less watts,id say this LED light is damn fine..
I think so too. It seems to have done just what it was supposed to. Still waiting for the final tally, but I'm much more than satisfied as it stands now. 685w+20w fans compared to 1028w+136w fans.
Amazing grow... thank yu.. yu mentioned that yur going all led??? Wat are yu thinking
★★★kushed_out★★★
Thank you.
Yes possibly. We will see after the harvest what works out. I know for sure that hps will not be part of it.
Damn dude you killed it. That looks like its gonna be some great medicine. I definitely see an at600 in my future.
Amazing!!! Thanks for the lesson. Leaned a bunch and to see final results that good is motivation to do better.
Thanks again for the great video.
Thanks for watching. I learned a lot along the way too. I am glad I could help. It was fun for me and it will only get better from here.

Ya it's about 2600K

I am guessing that 2200 is from hps(my hortilux is 2100k)? And I have wondered what some more red would do for our plant...and/or a little less blue. My first thought is R3. It would have to be tested, but maybe. I know this test I just did will give them plenty of feed back to determine if tweaks are needed.

LIKE A BOSS, MON!
Glad you like it!
