Ya I'm talking values. I know there were bad people, but look at the committee impeachment vote on Nixon. Repubs still had some character. No way does Nixon's senate exonerate dump. I know there were bad people but the masses held them accountable and valued greater morals than today. There was a lot of unaccountability back then too, but civil rights won and Nixon was forced to step down, and Roe v Wade was decided, compared to now a days the good guys are losing the good fight imo and due to the restructuring of our societal/moral values.

Obvi Russia interfered, but they don't have the success they've had if Americans had more accountability. That's what I'm saying.
Yeah the Republican party has sold out hard. It started when they decided to stick to the Southern Strategy and used Hate Radio and 'entertainment' news like shows on Fox to lie to the public and get them to hate the 'other'. Picking up the evangelical and racists along the way since they fit so well in the Wealthy White Heterosexual Male Only agenda.

Wait for the polls in the general election before ya jump off a bridge Jimmy, Sanders might surprise a few people, Trump included if he becomes the nominee, a good VP pick is essential. Bernie is popular among those who want change and he might make older voters and those who crave a return to normalcy more comfortable too. If he is matched up against Trump he will look a lot better and the choice couldn't be more clear, and people used to bitch about both parties being the same! The senate republicans will be running against TV ads this year that will make yer skin crawl and every one of the fuckers will be carrying Trump on his back! Turn out will be historic this year and that is very bad news for the republicans, especially Trump.

Cheer up, there are a lot of scandals, fuckups and mean tweets on the part of Trump, and house investigations between now and november. The intelligence agencies are gonna leak like sieves and the press will be busier than ever, so will the Russians unfortunately.

You conveniently forgot how popular Bernie is with the Russians too. That really goes a long way, especially when they are getting a free pass at attacking our elections. Im sure they are doing it for our best interests, and to remove Mitch and Trump since they have been so tough on Russia (sarcasm).

Bernie is no friend to Russia they supported him in 2016 to get at Hillary and cause division in the democrats, Bernie came on side in his concession speech and campaigned against Trump vigorously and encouraged his supporter to do so too. Bernie is no more responsible for what the Russians do than you, he is not a Russian asset, Trump is..

People have many reasons to vote against Trump and the GOP and only one reason to vote for him, this is the major factor in this civil war by other means you call an election. If Trump's massive use of official power to try and cheat the vote with the help of a foreign hostile power can really be called an election in the truest sense of the word. You have one party actively cheating while aiding and abetting election interference by a hostile foreign power who has thousands of nukes pointed at you/us. One side represents patriotism, democracy and the rule of law, while the other really wants an white ethno nationalist fascist regime and are willing to commit treason, lie, cheat and steal in order to attain it.

Oh you have some kind of insider deep personal knowledge of Bernie and the Russians plans around him, I didn't realize.

Face it, you hope, feel, believe that this is the case and have no better information that what is available to all of us. I quit listening to people that told me that they have special knowledge and to trust them when I was a kid that my Jehovah Witness step mom was trying to convince her way was the right one, and later by my born again southern baptist dad. Cult logic is all it is.

Bernie is using the same network to win the Democratic Primary as we speak.

He knew the Russians were promoting him and trashing his opponents for at least a month, back when Joe Biden was getting impeached in the Senate, and didn't say shit about it. Which is him accepting their help.

Yes once he was caught out by Trump firing the DNI for warning the congress about it, he mostly said the right things, right up until he started attacking the press and crying his version of 'deep state', the establishment.

The only hope that I have is that Trump is so stained by the moral corruption that he exudes is that he is finally refuted by the American people and not re-elected.
This will truly be an historic election for America's future & maybe all this madness will square out, like just imagine for a moment that Trump could actually be so disgusting that he would be un-electable, and Sanders with all his Progressive ideas become elected?
It would be true justice if Trumps corruption & immorality leads to significant change in the direction of this country, and not one that Conservatives could have ever dreamed of, an actual return to decency.

I do not agree with your assessment of the situation and comparing Bernie's complaints about the democratic establishment (he is an outsider after all) is not the same as the rantings about a fictitious "deep state". None of the other candidates weighed in on the investigation or impeachment trial, congress had it in hand, Joe didn't say much either and he shouldn't have, if your enemy is digging his own grave, get out of his way!

No more evidence than you have that he is in bed with the Russians, you're rumor mongering.
Is that how you feel?

He knew for a month while his rival candidate was getting attacked full force with Russian propagated propaganda and didn't warn us American voters what was going on. He used it. And he got their help in 2016.

Trump’s Lackeys Now Pose a Grave National Security Threat
Richard Grenell and Kashyap Patel are likely to twist intelligence just to keep the president from getting angry.

The naming of a lackey as acting director of national intelligence, and of an even bigger lackey as his deputy, signifies President Donald Trump’s deep insecurity but also his growing confidence: He can’t bear to hear views that differ from his own, but he now makes no effort to disguise his shutdown of dissent. He knows that no one will stop him.

There are two dangers to the blatant politicization of intelligence: first, the looming specter of authoritarianism, second, the clear danger to national security.

We have seen bits of this in the past. When President George W. Bush was looking for an excuse to invade Iraq in the fall of 2002, Vice President Dick Cheney prodded the CIA to cherry-pick raw intelligence suggesting that Saddam Hussein was developing weapons of mass destruction. Dissenting views, from other agencies, were cited in footnotes to the National Intelligence Estimate, but no footnotes were cited in the report’s executive summary, which is all that most presidents and legislators bother to read. And so we plunged into a war—which killed 4,400 U.S. troops, wounded 34,000 more, and destabilized the entire Middle East—on false and contested pretenses.

With lackeys now in charge of all the intelligence agencies, future reports might not have any dissents, even in the fine print.

The new lackey in chief is Richard Grenell, a former political operative who currently serves as U.S. ambassador to Germany, where he has aroused contempt and distrust for dissing the top NATO ally in a head-spinningly clueless manner. Recently, for instance, Grenell said that reports by embassy staffs—the professional diplomats who have built up years of experience and wisdom about the host countries—aren’t needed because “we can get that information off the internet.”

Grenell was brought in just days after the previous acting director of national intelligence, Joseph Maguire, former director of the National Counterterrorism Center, told House members that Russian President Vladimir Putin had begun interfering in the 2020 elections with the aim of getting Trump reelected.
