Anyone get seeds into Australia?

the package did not appear to have been opened previously when i recieved it, and was rather inconspicous looking.

Why would Nirvana send only the Germination Kit, but not the seeds?
And if they did send both the seeds & the kit from the start, then why would customs only confiscate the seeds, why not the whole lot?

Anyone have any suggestions as to what happened here?

Would the seeds have been shipped seperatly to the kit, and maybe where intercepted along the way?

this all makes me a sad panda...

some places ship seeds seperate from other items, less likely to be looked at customs when in smaller packages or letters. when sending a germ kit and seeds in same package, then your intending on growing them get it.

i would wait a bit longer or send them an email to see if they shipped seperate.

they reckon taht yes, they are shipped seperatly...

soo, it's back to "wait and see"
 
Have not received order from HGS after the stipulated 3 weeks. So I emailed them. After a couple of emails to and fro they NOW state that seeds to Oz can take 6days to 6 weeks. Funny how they didnt say that when I ordered. They told me to be patient. So I have 2 weeks left before 6 weeks is up.

My advice is forget the cheap prices at HGS as their mail is very slow and they fib a bit......plus they never put a name or phone number to their emails so you dont know who you are talking too. And go with Attitude in the UK. You can even call Kevin on the phone and have a chat. Those Attitude beans germed 3 weeks ago and are going fine. :)
 
Go the Attitude. I have received every order placed with them. Unfortunately I am ordering more seeds of different strains from what I feel are better breeders. These being the Greenhouse Seed Company and Barney's Farm. I have just ordered 10 feminized seeds this time to avoid wasting a month of sunshine. Warning stay clear of Nirvana Jock Horror man they either wont sprout or when they do they will look tall and male looking or have weird leaf patterns etc. I bought 10 of these from Nirvana and 10 PPP and I must say I have learnt my lesson. I will, 1) never buy cheap seeds again and 2) I will always buy feminized. I think buying seeds not feminized. Your just setting yourself up for a lot of hard work and TLC to end up with mostly males. FUCK THAT!
 
well, i still haven't seen these seeds, (f$%kin' spewin'!)

so i'm just gonna order some feminized WW from attitude.
hopefully they'll make it here, and hopefully soon

If you mean White Widow.....my 2 from Attitude are looking real good. Only my 2 Himalyan Gold are a bit pale green, and in fact the first 2 round leaves even look a bit yellow. Maybe thats where the Gold comes from.

Will start liquid fertiliser tomorrow as Ive been growing them in good organic potting mix for 3 1/2 without feeding. Crikeys time flies.

And all the others.... Northern Soul, AK47, and the bonus Thai Super Skunk are just doing fine too. Looks like a good summer ahead DownUnder :)

And my original bagseed plant growing since early July is heading real good.....its a girl!!!!! .......nice crystals and smelly and about 4-5 weeks before she's ready. God bless the herbs!

do you still have the box the germ kit was shipped in? if so tear the box apart gently and see if they were stashed in there, unless your sure they were shiped in different shipment.
 
Beans from HGS finally arrived today....yah!!! It took 5 weeks to the day it was posted by air mail from Canada to Oz, or 5 1/2 weeks from order. Beans look nice and healthy too.

Gee, Canada Post must be the slowest mail service in the world. HGS also threw in 3 extra beans to cover the extra CAN$17 I spent on priority postage that was no longer available to Oz or New Zealand. Again so bizarre in this day & age. CP is definitely going back into the dark ages. :wall:

From now on I'll pay extra and order just from Attitude. Only took a week. Plants already nearly 4 weeks old and vegging quite well. :bigjoint:

When I ordered from Nirvana the stealth was quite good. It took me a few minutes to find the seeds. They where stuffed right at the back of a box of pencils I would not be surprised if they where in your germ kit somewhere.


I have made 6 orders from seed banks to Australia. 3 from Attitude Cannabis Seeds The Attitude Marijuana Seeds all arrived, 1 from Nirvana Cannabis seeds straight from the breeder/seedbank NIRVANA - High Quality Hemp Seed - Indica Sativa Feminized Marijuana seeds. which also arrived (not sure I am so happy with the genetics though), 1 from BC Buds www.bcbudonline.com which should be arriving any day now and 1 from Pick 'n' Mix Cannabis Seeds - Pick 'n' Mix Cannabis Seeds which should also be coming any day now

are there any other reliable company out there to get seeds into Oz ? or should i just stick with the usual group like nirvana,hgs,joeyweed ,etc.s

hey nufnsus dont order to same address iv got caught sending seeds before and they give u 1 warning then a fine then court or something like that anyway i have to order to a differnt address now i got my seeds from nirvana sent to perth. pretty gay they confiscated my bigbud seeds and my shitty maroc x afghan got through i only orderd them cause they were cheapest and wanted to make sure they wernt a fraud since sending seeds was a new thing to me. nirvana did a pretty shitty job of hidding there seeds aswell just stuck them in a ipod case. def gonna order from attitude next lot.... also to people living in perth i always have a problem with flowering my plants they grow fine then when they flower it looks like they get massive nute def. whats a good soil to use to avoid that problem or do u always have to add nutes to it?
